RT for chance to win a signed copy of BLITZ - out in May.
For too long ‘The Blitz’ has been framed as a few desperate months in 1940/41 mainly affecting London. But attacks were far more widespread, far more devastating, & for most of the war.
The BLITZ story is now told afresh:

#1000RED...... Today I have ran 1000 consecutive days. And if it wasn't for a short interlude recovering from a broken neck it would be around 2500days!
Short run today

Well worth spending some time looking around this. I lost a few hours walking around the real exhibition on a few occasions when it was at the IWM. Shame it is no longer there. But pleased to see this website up and running.. well done @LordAshcroft for keeping the stories alive.
The decision by @I_W_M to close the Lord Ashcroft Gallery was truly heartbreaking, but the stories of bravery told there must live on.
I am delighted to announce the launch of a new virtual tour so you can see the Gallery for yourself

A year ago today there was a wedding. It had #Invictus as a theme in the run up to @InvictusGames25 and the couple lived happily ever after...

Veterans are being left without a clear route into civilian care and support, according to a report by the Armed Forces charity @HelpforHeroes.
Barrie Griffiths served in the Royal Air Force for more than 30 years, but when he was discharged after suffering a spinal injury, he said he felt 'thrown to the wolves' with 'no guidance' on how to manage civilian life.
Barrie talks to @susannareid100 and Richard about his experience.

Tragic. Choking, the silent killer. If ever you think someone is choking then help them - JDI (Just Do It). I saved my wife's life - the most terrifying few moments of my own life - six years ago. Same as CPR, you can't hurt them, but you might save them. Remember, JDI!
I went to thank my local hospital this week for quite literally saving my life.. and got in the news.
