My bike was stolen in ~2015. The police response was literally "sure we can take a report if you feel like wasting everyone's time." Instead, my bike was recovered by my local bike shop owner who recognized it, pushed the thief off it, then repaired the damage. Community > cops.

1/9/25 we got a call that broke my heart. The Team Mari storage unit was burglarized and vandalized. They stole everything they could, and what they didn't steal they destroyed.
