One might think a prestigious competition would know that white/gold/dark rum categories are hugely backward. No distinction between "white" cane juice, molasses, and multi-island blends. 🤷♂️

Dr. Persaud had an enormous impact on Guyana's rum industry and other CARIFORUM rum producers. He played a pivotal role as WIRSPA's managing director between 1990-1992.
