The justification is valid enough, so Elias laughs heartfully. Then he stands there while watching his eyes, trying to gouge out what he wants from him by asking such a question. Suspicious isn't okay, but wary is, so Elias is wary, just like usually he does. A moment before he
smiles. "I am looking for someone," he says. Is that enough, @sunmoonsign?

"Room temperature it is," he says. He pours the water from a large pint, into a 𝘙𝘰𝘤𝘬 𝘎𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘴 but without ice cubes or alcohols. He chuckles a little. "My apologise, but I didn't expect my friend will be this vengeful towards this poor man," he adds. Then he takes a lemon
as he slices it into eight slices, he puts it into a small plate before he serves it to him.
A pause, but he remains smiling at him. "My, why suddenly asking? You have never been this curious before," he chuckles, wishing to remain calm. @sunmoonsign

He chuckles again hearing such an answer from him. "At least I am trying," he says while shrugging his shoulders. Then another nod as he prepares the glass.
"Sure, water and lemon slices, iced or room temperature?" He asks. Then his attention shifted to the question given for
him. "First of all, sure you can ask, and secondly, just until when are you going to call me Mr. Bartender? Elias is fine, I insist," he adds. @sunmoonsign

Elias lets out a lively chuckle upon his friend's reaction. That surely is an expected answer from Yuu. "Really? Been a while and no one has been trying to pursue you?" He asks again. It's rare for a bartender to be this nosy, but oh well—he is Elias, so he has to be nosy or else
it won't be him. Then he smiles again at his customer. "It's nice to talk to you again after awhile, surely," he says. "Order more if you need any, by the way, tonight's drink is on me." @sunmoonsign
"Holy mother of Christ—!" He jumps behind his barstool when the lad in front of him 𝘥𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘴 his left ear. Heart thumping like a drum, never in his life he sees something like this, not even when he is drunk. "Uh, Sir?" Please, @forsakeher, explain this before he passes out.
Elias smiles a little. "I apologise for not having any menu for me to offer," he says, politely. He should not see the guy as a beggar, he is a customer, because in a bar, even he has to serve a murderer had they come here, let alone a beggar. Then he points thinks for a moment,
he hums right after. "Have you ever drink any alcohol before? Or is this your first time having?" Because he has to take into account on what amount of alcohol he can serve to @forsakeher.
𝘈𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘰 will ease the taste, into a rich, albeit sweet drink. He adds an ice cube to the glass before he pours the mixed drink while straining it, making a fine, smooth taste of the cocktail. He adds a lemon peel for a garnish for the finishing touch.
"Here you go," he
says while serving the drink. "One 𝘎𝘰𝘥𝘧𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 for you, enjoy." @verngeful
Brows were raised upon receiving the said messages, both because it was really surprising yet also suspicious—not in a bad way. To Japan, well, long time he hasn't been there so why not? He decides to reply right away.
Messages to @belovedbygods.

- It's lovely to know that you received my cognac already.
- Japan is far away from here, yet I've been missing the country for years.
- Sit and relax, which part of Japan?
- I'll come over, and don't worry about the accommodation, you've been so nice to me, too nice even.

bang before—THAT was definitely suspicious. Not a bartender's job to ask their customer, but they shall observe. "I hope I can come to your magic show one day," he adds. Oh come on! It's awkward now for him! Turns out he is not as skilled as he though he is—Elias has so much to
learn from now on.
"Ah right, about the drink," he finally addresses the common issue. "What preferences do you have? Sweet, bitter, sour, or maybe any alcohol preferences?" Let's treat him like a normal human being for now, can he, @forsakeher?
