Israeli President Herzog thanks Hungarian Prime Minister Magyar for stopping the EU from imposing sanctions on Israel
It was a pleasure to meet Prime Minister Péter Magyar @magyarpeterMP in Budapest today.
We discussed the special bond between Israel and Hungary and how best to strengthen our bilateral cooperation. We also spoke about ways to address the many challenges facing both the Middle East and Europe and the importance of protecting the shared values of our two peoples.
I thanked Prime Minister Magyar for his clear and unequivocal stance against antisemitism, and I invited him to visit Israel.
