I recently got EB1A approved, and I did not know how to feel. The celebration I had prepared for in my head did not happen. For a moment, I even wondered if I lacked the vitamins necessary to feel joy. But over time, I realized that I had already shattered every limit I was given. They said, “Oh not HND? Good luck getting far.” Yet, I got a direct, fully funded Master’s. “Of all courses, you chose communication? You’re smarter than that.” Yet, I graduated and landed a six-figure job doing just that. Three Attorneys rejected my profile, “USCIS prioritizes STEM. Do this, do that.” Yet, I got both EB2-NIW and EB1-A approvals in a non-STEM field. In fact, I even turned down a fully funded PhD offer in a STEM program. Because at this point in my life, I just want to be. I choose to walk the path God has prepared for me. So yes, this is a testimony. But let it also be a gentle preaching. Sometimes, God offers us the best, but we miss it because we are too busy chasing what could or should have been. We confuse pressure for purpose. We confuse applause for alignment. But I have learned to let go of my will when it does not align with His. Because I trust that His will for me is always bigger, better, and bolder than my will for me. Even when the present feels uncertain, I submit fully to His process. And I celebrate the quiet, steady grace that has carried me this far. Congratulations, Amaka Peace. You did not just win. You became. More to come my Darling❤️🎊
