Disagree. If you are not curious you are not a good designer, despite your age. The advantage of new designers over "seasoned" is their lack of guardrails, out of the box thinking is natural when you are new to the box. Seasoned designers need to do this effort consciously.
One of the greatest traits new designers have over “seasoned” designers is curiosity. “What happens if I try.... ?” Use this to your advantage. Don’t play by the rules when you don’t have to. Be curious. Explore the possibilities. It’s in those moments you’ll stand out.

It's 1985. James Burke is walking around in some hills. And then he delivers a scintillating piece to camera about how politics is going to change in the digital age. Totally. Crazy.

Wow! China Airport face recognition systems to help you check your flight status and find the way to your gate. Note I did not input anything, it accurately identified my full flight information from my face!

Hello friends, Briefly about the best support ever from @cssdesignawards as well as how they treat designers who pay to submit their works! I’ve never experienced treatment like this from any platform or customer. This is outrageous and we should do something about it!

Man spends his entire life in a waiting room He adorns the waiting room with lights and banners He populates it with crowds He fills it with music He equips it with high-definition displays of rainbows and waterfalls And almost never does he examine what it is he is awaiting.

Doctors won’t make you healthy. Nutritionists won’t make you slim. Teachers won’t make you smart. Gurus won’t make you calm. Mentors won’t make you rich. Trainers won’t make you fit. Ultimately, you have to take responsibility. Save yourself.

Among the reasons to be weary of IoT devices: this cloud-enabled camera is hardcoded to talk to a server in AWS that is running an unencrypted copy of phpMyAdmin. Now I need a beer.
