The book was open, the pages white,
A story building in the morning light.
The ink was fresh, the words just begun,
A brilliant tapestry beneath the sun.
But winter whispered to the early spring,
And stilled the song before the bird could sing.
A sudden shadow where the daylight shone,
The music stopped, the gentle dancer gone.
Yet do not count the chapters left unread,
Nor weep too long for paths they cannot tread.
For some souls burn so fiercely and so bright,
They pack a lifetime into one short night.
They are the bloom that gathered all the dew,
The sharpest spark, the sky’s intensest blue.
They never faded, never turned to grey,
But left us standing in their perfect ray.
Though brief the stay, the echo still remains,
A sweet refrain through all our quiet pains.
Forever safe from time’s eroding hand,
Forever young within a timeless land.
RIP little man 💔

a true British hero.
He was injured. His fingers were broken. His hand was cut open. And Taliban gunfire was still coming his way.
Staff Sergeant Gareth Wood of the Royal Logistic Corps did not turn back.
In March 2010, a patrol in Helmand found itself trapped in a minefield after a Mastiff armoured vehicle was damaged by an improvised explosive device.
Gareth Wood, then 29, was flown in by helicopter to help get them out.
Under heavy enemy fire, he approached the first device and successfully defused it.
Then came the second.
As he worked to remove it from the ground, Gareth badly injured his hand and broke two fingers.
His arm was placed in a sling. His injured fingers were put into a splint.
But the job was not finished.
Gareth returned to the minefield and neutralised the device before calmly clearing three more bombs, creating a safe route for the trapped crew to escape under cover of darkness.
His official citation praised the extraordinary courage that allowed the crew to make their way out through a path he had cleared single-handedly.
There was another deeply personal detail behind his courage.
Gareth had been a close friend of Staff Sergeant Olaf Schmid, another bomb disposal expert who was killed in Afghanistan in 2007 after defusing 70 Taliban IEDs.
After Olaf's death, Gareth was given two cigars from his friend's kit.
He smoked one after dealing with his first bomb.
It was a quiet moment between two men who understood the danger of their work.
Gareth was married and had twin daughters, just three years old at the time.
On 19 November 2010, he stood at Buckingham Palace to receive the Military Cross from the Prince of Wales, recognising an act of exemplary gallantry during active operations against the enemy.
But the medal tells only part of the story.
Behind it was a husband, a father, a friend and a soldier who stepped into danger when others needed a way home.
Staff Sergeant Gareth Wood MC.
A man who kept going when stopping would have been understandable.
A man who made the path to safety with his own hands.
We remember his courage. We honour his service.
Respect to you mate x

Très TRÈS GRAND RESPECT !!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Blair Boudreau is a Toronto based In-Flight Service Director for @AirCanada where he oversees flight attendant staff on board Air Canada flights. He has been in this role since 1998 for over 28 years.
Blair Boudreau hopes that God will inflict another large catastrophe on Jews writing “I hope that God revisits the Jews….again.”
Blair Boudreau accuses Jews of collecting / stealing the skin of Palestinian prisoners, doing a “double tap” where you murder someone then kill the rescue team, and attributing the 9/11 terrorist attacks to “the Jew Larry Silverstein.”
Blair Boudreau dabbles in pretty much all the antisemitic theories including Jews owning banks, Hollywood, media, government, congress, senate, US presidency, Mexico, and Argentina.
Blair Boudreau believes Jews who wear yarmulkes “wear the mark to the beast upon their heads”, accusing Jews of who wear kippahs as worshipping the devil.
Blair Boudreau doesn’t want to see Jews celebrating Hannukah anywhere in western civilization stating “the menorah has no place in civilized society.”
“All Jews are obsessed with money” states Blair Boudreau, accusing Jews of somehow being “in cahoots with Hitler” and denying Israel the right to exist at all.
Blair Boudreau incites political violence by calling on the Islamic Republic of Iran to kill the sitting president of the United States of America @POTUS and also warns of burning down the @WhiteHouse. Blair Boudreau admits to having common ground with the Iranian regime @SecretService
Blair Boudreau would also like to see Elon Musk kill himself & wants to see Tel Aviv bombed.
This is a Notice of Public Interest to all Jews & Israelis using Air Canada regarding this rabid & dangerous Jew hater who may be on their flights.
Further, we advise @DHSgov to block Blair Boudreau access from US bound flights given his calls to have the US president murdered & the White House burned down.

I’ve stopped posting about this of late BUT :
In Cambridge recently - there were four upper middle class educated grey haired white grandmas and one grey haired grandpa on a Saturday demonstration near the theatre. One of the non-jewish actors I work with who met quite a few of the survivors of October 7 at the recent Nova Exhibition went and asked the five Grey Grandparents what they thought about October 7 with the terrible rapes abductions murders & atrocitities carried out that day. The Gray Grandpa told the Actor that none of the atrocities really happened that it was all hearsay and speculation. One of the old middleclass Grey Grandmas said ‘actually I don’t care’
For the record having met many of the survivors, many of the rape survivors and many of the families who’s children were murdered at the Nova festival -I can categorically tell you that some of the worst atrocities I have ever heard of happened that day. Never allow anyone to deny what happened on October 7th. Please. It doesn’t matter what your political affiliation is but once you start denying rape and sexual violence to one group of people when there is empirical evidence- you will end up denying all. 🙌

🚨I see that the NSPCC is in the news today for all the wrong reasons.
I was a volunteer counsellor within the organisation for over 5 years. After whistleblowing my concerns regarding the safeguarding of children, I was told to leave. Here are some of the things I witnessed:
-Message boards in which children advise each other about sourcing cross-sex hormones and genital surgery
-Advising vulnerable girls on wearing breast binders
-Defending men who want to ‘chest feed’ babies
-Telling children that, if they are left infertile after transitioning, they can always get a surrogate to carry a baby for them
-A CEO who has said that ‘transwomen’ should be “celebrated”
-A webpage which reads as a roadmap to transitioning
-Trans flags flying in its counselling rooms
-Collaboration with Mermaids
-Enlisting children to make pride flags for marches
-Selling ideological reading material through its online shop
-A Head of Childline, Shaun Friel, who said that it is a “privilege” to work with children “coming out” regarding their “gender identity”
If our children are not safe contacting the NSPCC, where are they safe?

The last phone calls made by 9/11 victims to their loved ones:
"I just wanted to let you know I love you and I'm stuck in this building in New York. There's lots of smoke, and I just wanted you to know that I love you always."
— Melissa Harrington Hughes, in New York for a single day of work, to her husband Sean.
"Jules, this is Brian. Listen, I'm on an airplane that's been hijacked. If things don't go well, and it's not looking good, I just want you to know I absolutely love you. I want you to do good, go have good times. I'll see you when you get there."
— Brian Sweeney, aboard Flight 175, to his wife Julie.
"I want to tell you I love you. Please tell my children that I love them very much, and I'm so sorry."
— CeeCee Lyles, flight attendant on Flight 93, to her husband Lorne.
"Tell my mother that I love her and that she's the best mom in the whole world."
— Melissa Doi, 83rd floor, South Tower, to a 911 operator.
"If I don't make it, please call my family and let them know how much I love them."
— Todd Beamer, aboard Flight 93, moments before the passengers fought back.
Every one of them knew. And when there was no time left for anything else, not one of them spoke of money, or work, or the things we spend our lives chasing. They spoke of love, and of the people they called family.
We drift through so much of life half asleep, carried along by routine, numbed by a rhythm we never chose. And yet, when everything is stripped away and the noise finally stops, the truest part of us rises to the surface...
In the end, love is all that matters.

#WeRemember the 343 firefighters who lost their lives in the 9/11 terror attacks, 25 years ago today.
Many more firefighters have since suffered from diseases likely linked to toxic substances present at ground zero.
Today, Firefighters will observe a minute's silence at 13.46 – the time in the UK when the first plane impacted the North Tower of the World Trade Center.

More than 300 dogs helped search for survivors on 9/11. In fact, the last person rescued at ground zero was found by a search and rescue dog.
The search was mentally and physically taxing on the dogs, who walked across huge piles of debris and smoldering rubble. As the days went by, dogs became sad when they were no longer finding people alive. So, to keep their spirits up, their handlers staged mock rescues. They would have people hide under debris for dogs to find. This boosted the dogs’ morale as they continued their work.
In addition to rescue dogs, therapy dogs were brought to the scene to provide comfort to emotionally drained and traumatized police officers and firefighters.
Dogs are the best thing in the world and we do not deserve them.

BRITAIN ANNOUNCED A BOYCOTT. THEN REALITY HIT.
SEPT 8: Britain announces a ban on goods from Israeli communities in Judea & Samaria.
Except—the ban isn't actually in force. London says it needs 6–9 months to implement.
HOURS LATER: Israel retaliates.
🇬🇧 British Consulate in Jerusalem ordered closed
🇬🇧 UK removed from Gaza coordination mission
🇬🇧 British training of PA security forces terminated
🇬🇧 12 British figures banned from Israel
THEN THE U.S. WARNING: American officials warn British businesses could face consequences under U.S. anti-boycott laws.
THEN THE ECONOMIC REALITY: Israeli businesses warn they could close—and Palestinian employees could lose their jobs.
NOW: Reports reveal British officials had already warned the government that the boycott may be practically unworkable, because Israeli, Palestinian and Judea & Samaria supply chains cannot easily be separated.
So where does it stand?
Britain hasn't withdrawn the declaration.
But there is no boycott currently in force.
There is a political promise, a 6–9 month implementation window—and an increasingly complicated reality standing in the way.
The question now isn't what Britain announced. It's whether Britain can actually do it.
Charlie Kirk was eighteen when he started Turning Point USA from his father’s house.
He had wanted West Point.
That door closed.
So he built a different kind of classroom: a table on a campus, an open invitation to argue.
He met Erika over one long dinner and said he knew almost immediately.
They married small.
They had a daughter, then a son, and kept their names out of the noise.
Faith became the center of him.
On his last morning he talked about Christ, then took questions the way he always had.
A student asked. He asked one back.
Those who loved him say he did not suffer. His wife said he looked at peace.
He was 31.
The story people keep is not only how it ended.
It is the kid from Illinois who never got the academy, so he stood in the open air and talked anyway - and still made it home, for a little while, to the life he wanted most.
We will always miss you, Charlie.
