Inspectors praised staff-prisoner relationships at Magilligan and found levels of violence were lower than in similar jails. It also praised workshops which help towards rehabilitation. 🎙️Our North West Reporter @ChelsieKealey spoke with the Justice Minister @naomi_long in one of the workshops.

This is what NI politicians of all hues should be shouting the loudest about. The most important issue here by far. It's absolutely scandalous. We should not be putting up with this.
GP additional funding 2025/6 England £969m Scotland £290m Wales £52m NI £1m All have the same pressures, same plans and same priorities. Never ever be shocked or surprised that you can’t access simple, basic health care in NI or why our NHS is collapsing

A prisoner who died whilst in custody was given medical care that “far exceeded” what he would have received in the community, a Prisoner Ombudsman’s report has found. ➡️belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/… belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/…

I think we are all shocked as a profession with the words of @mikenesbittni and his intention to hold long waits personally against GPs (with the lowest funding in Western Europe).
After 25 years in practice, first ever letter to a health minister

Delighted to see this! @IrinaRa05139586 is a great example of a social worker at the coalface of the NHS. Well deserved
What an achievement! Thank you for the nomination! I don't have words for this as I never imagined as a social worker I would reach this point in my career. This is why my job is just amazing @cat_erin21 @setrust @StephenMcGPT

Proof that you can incarnate people but do something positive and constructive with a sentence. Nothing imaginative here just a handover to serious organised crime addiction and despair. theguardian.com/us-news/2025…
