THE RIGHT SIDE UP: We often hear: "Government meds are weak" or "Cheap meds don't work." This is false. Our lab data proves that Indian generics match the quality of premium brands. Don't let marketing fool you. The molecule doesn't care about the brand name on the box. Your health deserves quality. Your wallet deserves fairness. This large scale study proves that in general: Generics ≠ Inferior We tested. We verified. The results are undeniable. EVERY. SINGLE. PILL. PASSED. Whether it was a ₹61 liver tablet from a big brand or a ₹16 one from Jan Aushadhi - they ALL met the strict Indian Pharmacopoeia standards. Zero failures. The cheap meds worked just as well in the lab. Please share and RT to help your family & friends save tens of thousands on medicines! 11/11

Watch till the end. Listen to the outrage, despair, and yes, fear, in @PatinkinMandy's voice. That is the sound of a person with a conscious. All our voices should sound like this.

Unbelievable. We have seen the preliminary report of the investigation into the #AirIndia #AI171 crash. It showed three things. One, the flaps were in the normal position. Two, the engine lost thrust because the fuel was cut off. Three, one of the pilots asked the other why he cut off the fuel. The other pilot replied that he had not done so. What is the obvious conclusion? It is that there was a mechanical failure because of which the valves accidentally shut off the fuel to the engines. But not for #BBC. I just watched BBC, and their anchor mentioned everything that I have written above, except the reply from the second pilot saying that he had not done so. The anchor concludes that the pilot switched off the fuel valve, and there was no mechanical fault with the plane. If this is not yellow journalism, I don't know what is.

🧵 1/ This morning, I got myself a Pixel 9 Pro XL. Great deal on Google Store. Smooth migration from my old phone. UPI apps reverified. ₹5K per transaction limits kicked in — expected friction. Then I requested an eSIM. And a simple ₹10 metro ride became impossible. Here’s how policy breaks usability. 👇

The weight of grief bears down on me at the news of the passing of my honoured and cherished friend: Dr Manmohan Singh. Obituaries, essays and books a plenty there will surely be about this great man, celebrating him as the architect of India’s economic reforms. As Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh was the midwife of India’s emergence as one of the world’s economic giants. I had the rare privilege of witnessing the early years of these transformative policies first-hand while we both served as finance ministers during the 1990s. We shared a fervent commitment to the war against corruption — even collaborating on unravelling a major case. The praise that will follow in the days ahead will be truly well-deserved. Dr Manmohan Singh, slightly awkward as a politician but undeniably upright, steadfast and resolute as a statesman, leaves behind a legacy that will inspire generations to come. To me, he will be all that and much more. Not many people know this, and it is time that I share it with Malaysians: during the years of my incarceration, he extended a kindness that he didn’t have to — one that was neither politically expedient nor, as one can imagine, appreciated by the Malaysian government at that time. Yet, true to his character, he did it anyway. He offered scholarships for my children, particularly my son, Ihsan. Although I had declined the gracious offer, such a gesture undoubtedly showed his extraordinary humanity and generosity, demonstrative, as the Bard would have it, of a man so full of “the milk of human kindness”. In those dark days, as I navigated the labyrinth of imprisonment, he stood by me as a true friend. Such acts of quiet magnanimity defined him, and they will remain etched in my heart forever. Goodbye, my mitra, my bhai, Manmohan. Photo: Getty images

If there was a poll for the worst airports in the world, the Chennai airport will not be in the poll because in Chennai we don't have an airport. We have a giant non-functioning shed with some just aeroplanes landing and taking off 😭

If only there was a long, profound philosophical text somewhere about what dharma is, how it relates to the duty to uphold justice, and how that sometimes involve supporting one side over the other in a conflict.
India is wise not getting involved in the conflicts between contesting nations today. It has deeper civilizational values to uphold. What is necessary is for the world to move from mere political and economic interests to a dharmic and yogic view of the whole of life.
