The entire Canadian economy is smaller than Texas' GDP. We are nothing to the Americans, they don't think about us, they don't care about us, and our obsession with them is sad. There is no national identity left in Canada, just a bunch of self righteous America haters.

Want to see how far right the Republican Party has gone?
Watch George H. W. Bush and Ronald Reagan answer a question about illegal immigration during a 1980 debate.
They wouldn’t even be allowed in today’s Republican Party.

I used to think the future was gonna look like stepping out of your flying car and being greeted by your robot butler but it turns out it's just gonna look like an AI cancelling your digital money because you tried to join a union.

Torpedo the Visa Renewal Path
If the U.S. Navy can take someone off the street and train them to operate a nuclear submarine in under three years…
Then Amazon can train an American to do a tech job in that same time.
The truth is simple: every H-1B renewal proves the job was never “temporary.” Amazon had three full years to find, hire, or train an American. Instead, they chose to renew the visa and lock in foreign labor.
That isn’t compliance. It’s abuse. It’s un-American. And it betrays every citizen who could have filled that role.
Dump the visa renewal path. Hire and train Americans.
While I disagree with @hmajd on much about this conflict, he is right. This is not the conduct of a gentleman.

Incredible.
Roland Reisley is 101 years old, the last original client of Frank Lloyd Wright. He still lives in the 3,200 square foot home that Wright built for him in 1952.
The price? $40,000. Or a little less than half a million in today's money.
