I think we’re gonna see stories like this come out in droves now. It’s just one giant corrupt grift. We should all rewatch the Sopranos….

Someone should send this to the new Trump fraud tip line
BREAKING: A billionaire wanted a Trump pardon. His family gave Alina Habba a $50 million deal. Julio Herrera Velutini's daughter hired Habba -- then a senior adviser to Pam Bondi at the Justice Department -- at $10 million a year for four years plus bonuses. He got his pardon not long after. I'll give Trump credit for one thing. He held up a mirror to America and exposed just how many people choose hatred and bigotry over humanity, cruelty over compassion, and selfishness over decency. The worst part? They saw their reflection and loved it.

SCOOP: Julio Herrera Velutini, a Venezuelan billionaire, really wanted a pardon. He got it not long after his daughter hired Alina Habba, a lawyer close to Trump, in a deal worth more than $50 million. Habba was also working at DOJ at the time. nytimes.com/2026/10/20/us/po…

Some details.
If you follow me, you know I strongly support women’s health and greater funding investment in science. So a few thoughts on yesterday’s White House announcement. icymi, Trump unveiled a new women’s health division at NIH as though the federal government had never prioritized this work before. In fact NIH’s Office of Research on Women’s Health has existed since 1990. His executive order also revokes President Biden’s 2023 women’s health research initiative and his 2024 order advancing it. I was serving in the White House when those efforts began and can say that there was - and remains - an enormous amount to do. Biden called on Congress to invest $12 billion in women’s health research and made concrete funding announcements: in October 2024, ARPA-H announced more than $110 million for 23 teams tackling neglected conditions affecting women. Let’s not forget that this same administration has done incredible damage to the scientific systems over the past year and a half which has included terminating grants supporting women’s health research, including work on uterine fibroids and pregnancy risks. But most notably this announcement comes without specifying any NEW research funding commitment, which is what women’s health so desperately needs. I am absolutely supportive of a spotlight on women’s health but not another rebrand 😭

DJ Byrnes, who first posed the video of Acton's mother, says he was sent it from a Cleveland-area Republican who received it through a political message-testing survey from a market-research firm called Dynata. cleveland.com/news/2026/10/a…

I knew 11 years ago that our public discourse would be degraded down into unfathomable levels. The 2026 campaign in Ohio has now confirmed it beyond anything I could've imagined. Politicians are showing a derangement and sickness of heart and mind that's truly horrifying.

$113.5 million in outside money spent attacking Sherrod Brown. Imagine being that determined to keep one man out of the Senate. I want to know what those Republican donors expect in return and who gets stuck with the bill. 14 days until Ohio decides.

Vivek’s ad with Amy Acton’s mother is one of the most despicable things I’ve ever seen in politics. He’s arguably the most unlikable person in the history of people…because of stuff like this. By the end of the day, Ohioans will learn what happen to Amy as a 12-year old girl, how her mother lost custody of Amy as a result, and what a disgrace Vivek is for pulling this.

I've been all over this country. Arizona. West Virginia. Nebraska. Wisconsin. Louisiana. New York. Showing up wherever I'm needed. Because accountability didn't stop when they pardoned the people who attacked us. New post: standingourground.us/p/what-…

In 1994, Ukraine gave up the world’s third-largest nuclear arsenal on America’s word. This month, the president traded that word for a diesel deal with Putin. Watch what he does for Putin. It shows what he wants to do with his power over you. 👇🏼

Mr. Trump is now Mr. Putin’s best friend in the world, after perhaps China’s Xi Jinping. When the election is over there needs to be a bipartisan reckoning for Mr. Trump’s budding alliance with the Kremlin against Ukraine, Europe and American interests. wsj.com/opinion/to-russia-wi…

“Since the start of Trump’s second term, it has been excruciating to watch America’s president blame the victim, our ally Ukraine, for Putin’s war of aggression. As Ukraine fights for its survival against Moscow, Trump hectors it to surrender territory Putin has been unable to take on the battlefield after four years of barbarism.”

"Tommy" is not a voter. He is a Hawley staffer, not from Michigan, paid to pose as a voter and told to ask only the one question over and over. An empty suit, an embarrassment to the GOP. But not to you!
El Sayed’s campaign posted this thinking he somehow looked good trying to dress down a voter. Now millions are watching the candidate look like an angry, overly defensive jerk.

It's been a good week for Putin. In recent days, Trump has: * Struck a diesel deal lifting some sanctions * Restricted Starshield for Ukraine * Cut intel warnings of Russian missile launches against Ukraine for several days * Canceled Lindsey Graham sanctions * Demanded Ukraine dump Zelensky * Absolved Russia for helping Iran fight the US * Pushed Europe to resume buying Russian gas

This whole administration is unbelievably corrupt. Trump’s former personal lawyer allegedly sought to buy Trump’s favor through a $5.6 million Kennedy Center donation intended to protect her husband’s business interests in Venezuela. Then, last week, she stormed into the Oval Office, exasperated, claiming that the Trump appointee who arranged the payment had directed the money to a defense contractor he had previously worked for instead. Trump’s allies are doing everything they can to cash in on Trump’s presidency while they have the chance. Pay to play is the name of the game. nytimes.com/2026/10/15/us/po…
