This explains why his "gotcha" targeted the Muslim candidate.
The Handbasket first identified him via his X and Facebook profiles (Detroit) and LegiStorm, which confirms he ran Hawleyâs Senate operations until February. Crooks and Liars, Newsy Today, and Lawyers Guns & Money have since confirmed it.
Tommyâs father is Timmy Teepell, a Republican strategist who worked for Bobby Jindal (2004â2011), ran his 2015 presidential campaign, and helped Josh Hawley win as Missouri Attorney General in 2016 and U.S. Senator in 2018.
Christian nationalist ties run deep. Timmy is described as the âmost powerful allyâ of Sean Feucht, who preaches Christian supremacy. Video shows Feucht praying over father and son. Tommy interviewed on-stage with Feucht at his D.C. headquarters in April 2024.

An airman with the U.S. Air Forceâs 6th Combat Training Squadron, Detachment 2 died Saturday night after falling during a pregame rappelling demonstration before the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) vs Navy football game at the Alamodome in San Antonio, a Nellis Air Force Base spokesperson confirmed to Task & Purpose. The Air Force will withhold identification of the service member for 24 hours while the next of kin is notified.
Four military members were set to rappel from the rafters before UTSAâs annual Salute to Armed Forces & Veterans game. Video posted online shows the service member descending in an uncontrolled manner. Medical personnel rendered first aid, and the San Antonio Fire Department said it took a person with a life threatening injury to a hospital.
The Air Force says the incident is under investigation. Detachment 2 operates from Joint Base San Antonio-Camp Bullis as part of the 6th Combat Training Squadron, based at Nellis AFB, Nevada. It trains Tactical Air Control Party airmen, who embed with soldiers and Marines and direct and coordinate airstrikes from the ground.

The crowd cheered for 14 straight seconds.
The heckler stood there, absorbing it all. He sat down.
