Hiring a video editor will earn you a lot of money. By doing so, you’ll end up having more free time to be more creative and create higher quality videos. You’ll also be able to create more of those videos. Quality = Quantity Both are important. When hiring a video editor you’ll need a good one - somebody who’ll help you shift your content to a higher quality. Don’t focus on money or for how long they’re editing for, that doesn’t mean anything. Focus on editor’s: - past results - portfolio - testimonials If he has all three than you are set up for a future success. How should that look like? Take me for example: - Past results: I helped to gain my client over 2M subscribers within the first year of working together (we started working together when he had 50k subs) - Portfolio: Got a lot of videos I can show you so you can see all the different styles I do and overall showcase my skills for you to be confident that I can match your style - Testimonials: I’ve got over 15 clients that can vouch for me and screenshots of positive feedback on my work I wish you the best of luck to find a right video editor for you!

I do not only edit videos for my clients. I also try to build up relationship - If I can help you (not even with video editing), I’ll help you. It’s better to work with a friend rather than some random guy.

Your video editor should analyze your channel every month. Are you growing your channel each month or are you stuck in the same place? Analyze it, make adjustments. The best way is to set up a video call and look at your analytics together. Then you discuss it and create gameplan for the upcoming weeks - don’t be afraid to test different things and then double down on the winners. This will help you as a content creator and also us video editors to adjust the edits of your videos so they can perform.

This is what it took me to land this client: - offered free value - made research - prepared for a video call - dealt with negotiation process Around 8-10 hours to land a client, many more hours to fulfill my services. The number one priority when landing a client is to showcase what working with you will be like in the future: - reliable - professional - friendly - easy to deal with Now on to making sure my client is happy with me.

How do you qualify a VA when you are looking for one?

If you want to create quality content, you need to have quality production behind it
This is what it looks like behind the scenes when we have 100 contestants and 300 cameras haha

Did you actually find some X giveaway valuable after downloading it? Be honest.

Everyone is like personal brand this, personal brand that.. “I have personal brand” Yeah, everybody has a personal brand when you want to put it like that. What is even personal brand these days? What qualifies you to say that you have a personal brand? Everybody who has got a twitter acount claims that he’s got a personal brand nowadays. It’s messed up.

How to become the master of FOLLOW-UP by Ryan Serhant: Ryan uses 3 F’s rule: - The Follow UP - The Follow THROUGH - The Follow BACK 1. The FOLLOW-UP - Never expect people to get in touch with you - Folllow up until you get a YES or you read their obituary - Follow up with active clients every single day - Follow up is smacking the ball - it’s the first step 2. The FOLLOW-THROUGH - Do what you say you’re going to do - Create accountability if you need to - Never forget you don’t just have clients - you have relationships - Follow through drives the ball where you want it to go 3. The FOLLOW BACK - Keep in touch with past clients - The relationship does not end at the closing - Touch base with clients you lost - Follow back is your opportunity to get the ball back into play (so you can follow up) 4. There’s always the 4th "F" if something goes wrong - the Fuck you

As expected, so many new editors that started a year ago with the vision of earning "easy" money are already giving up. Nothing surprising about that, they found out it’s not as easy as it seems.

If you are passionate about creating content, You need to have video editor who is passionate editing them. Otherwise sooner or later, you’ll drive each other crazy.

When “genuinely curious” doesn’t sound like you are genuinely curious anymore..

Watching videos and reading books on subjects that are not related to video editing is what sets me apart from the competition. Constantly learning about sales, communication, human nature. This is why I can offer more than just video editing. This is the reason behind my success in video editing. Set yourself apart from others. Stand out.

Do you want to sincerely help others? Stop telling them all the things they do wrong. Start giving them advices on how to actually do it right. Example: A) Your outreach is terrible, it’s not personalised at all. B) You should include a genuine compliment in your outreach in order to make it more personalised. This should give you more chances to get a reply! See? Which “advice” brings more value? A or B?
212
You know the outreach is bad when 5 out of 7 senteces start with the word “I”: - I am - I edit - I have - I helped - I give No one cares about you.. I care about me, what value can you provide TO ME??
I’m a video editor myself lmao Who already got requests from other editors too?

Can’t stop thinking about improving my work, I wake up - instantly thinking how can I get more leads, I eat - watching videos how to get more leads, I go to sleep - thinking about how can I transform the leads into clients. I feel like it’s impossible to find work-life balance when you are this obsessed.

If you see a statement on X, …you don’t have to agree with that. Everytime I open up comment section there’s almost everyone agreeing with the statement, even tho the statement itself is not correct. Share your real thoughts, your real opinions. Don’t agree with everybody just because you’re trying to get the follow from them or gain more impressions. You’ll earn the engagement by sharing your opinion… genuine opinion, not by being a sheep.
