Not even going to read this. It’ll undoubtedly be a short, short list.
🔄 TRANSFER RUMOUR | Everton's January striker shortlist With Thierno Barry the only senior striker in David Moyes's squad, here’s a around up of forwards that have been linked with Everton ahead of January: • Esteban Lepaul (Rennes, 26) – France international, 20 goals in his first season at Rennes
• Dion Beljo (Dinamo Zagreb, 24) – 12 goals in his last 14 games; Man Utd and Spurs also reportedly watching
• Christian Kofane (Bayer Leverkusen, 20) – his representatives held talks at Finch Farm in the summer, but Leverkusen refused to sell
• Tommy Lonergan (Waterford, 22) – Ireland U21 international, reportedly scouted
• Nicolo Tresoldi (Club Brugge, 22) – Everton reportedly among clubs set to scout him against Lens on Wednesday There’s no evidence Everton are in advanced negotiations for any of them. (Via ReadEverton/TEAMtalk) #EFC

I’m okay with referees making errors. I’m not okay with it when it’s checked by VAR. Also errors aren’t inconsistencies. That’s incompetence.
🚨JUST IN: Howard Webb says fans just have to ACCEPT ERRORS... but referees DO CARE when they make them. “When we make an error, I don’t want people to think we just sit there and we really don’t give a toss. We give a big toss about it." “But we also want people to understand everybody in the game errs from time to time, whether you’re a player or manager, and our officials do the same. There has to be an acceptance that will happen.” Webb is the Premier League’s Chief Referee.

Firm of absolute fannies
Pure thuggery by Everton today yet we ended up with more yellows. Make it make sense

Norgaard was er…off the pace. Probably the nicest way I can say it.

Tough? Got laid out cold from an aerial challenge that he also went full force into.
Emi Martinez has been absolutely rocked here, fucking hell. Tough goalkeeper.

Fuck off the ball was there to be won.
🚨 Petr Čech: “I have no words for this referee. Tierney. That challenge should have been a card.” “What is wrong with these Everton players? No. What is wrong with this referee? Is he blind? That challenge was reckless. You do not go after the goalkeeper like that and expect to stay on the pitch. I am disgusted. This is how goalkeepers pick up injuries that stay with them for the rest of their careers. The referee should be questioned for not carding it immediately. If he wants a game with minimal contact, then do your job.”

Poor that. Really poor. We were well beaten in the second half by a side that just knew how to contain us. Need a striker that can hold a ball up.

Restrictive rules won’t save football.

PSR etc hasn’t worked. It allows you to borrow continuously and be in debt, just not post a loss…which means more borrowing. Until you can’t. Then it’s all over. The rules don’t work.

Cheating is cheating Jamie.
No it’s not hypocritical 😅 I’m talking about my striker diving for a penalty, me stopping a ball going over the line with my hand! I’m not talking about 900M in fake sponsorship over a number of years 🤯😅

Obviously not that confidential. Or this report is a lie?
🚨 Manchester City entered confidential talks with the Premier League over a potential settlement relating to their financial charges. 👀 Discussions centred around a substantial financial payment that could have reduced the sanctions imposed on the club, but negotiations ultimately collapsed. Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United were among the clubs expected to oppose any agreement. City continue to deny wrongdoing and are appealing the independent commission's findings. Why?
Liverpool's tops England's planning enforcement league table.

This post doesn’t mention LFC, MUFC or AFC. Yet their fans have hit the outrage button over it. Why? The post only questions the what if. A plausible outcome that would further damage the league we all watch. Even if some of city’s argument is true, the ramifications are huge.
What if City win their appeal? What if they have got irrefutable evidence that was ignored by the panel? What if they counter sue for protectionism and anti-competition law breaking? I can’t see a good result from any of this for the premier league or its members.

We are witnessing tonight what PSR have done to Newcastle. They have had their entire spine ripped out to stop them competing. Any team wanting to compete and daring to dream shouldn't be supporting these rules. They're a disgrace to this sport. They only benefit certain clubs.

I’m struggling, even as an Everton fan, to see the comparison. Heysel and the resulting punishment didn’t happen because Liverpool cheated?
“Cheating bastards you know what you are”, sings the fans that had English clubs banned from European football for several years because of a mass “man slaughter” in Belgium in 1985.

Can a disciplinary tribunal be genuinely independent when it is appointed through the organisation that brings the charges? Or is it a kangaroo court? It’s clearly an angle City are looking at.
