For those of you tagging me to this, I have seen it. This is disrespectful and totally disgusting from Mr Salako. I did not do MSSN while I was a student at Unilorin, so I do not know much about their internal activities. I am speaking purely as a Muslim. Even with my distance from the organization, I know brothers and sisters who went through MSSN and are incredibly upright people with solid moral compasses. I am not saying bad things cannot happen. Human beings are flawed, and bad eggs exist in every single religious or secular institution on earth. But you do not use isolated cases to rubbish a whole Islamic society. You do not wake up and blindly accuse an entire group of grooming and hypnotizing young girls into having multiple kids before graduation.  This is a deliberate lie, and a deliberate attempt to use the sins of a few to push a bigoted agenda against Muslims on these campuses. You can call out a compromised individual without dragging the entire MSSN through the mud. Keep your malicious generalizations to yourself.

Point of correction, we Muslims don’t pray because of worldly needs alone. And asking what a billionaire is still praying for shows a big misunderstanding of what prayer means in Islam. Salah is about submission, gratitude, and acknowledging our status as servants of the Almighty. Wealth cannot not buy you a pass out of your obligations to the Creator. A rich man needs forgiveness, peace of mind, good health, and a favorable standing in the hereafter just like anyone else. On that prayer mat, your net worth is zero. In fact, some of the ordinary persons behind him, might hold a higher status in the sight of the Almighty. So, Dangote is sitting there as a servant of Allah fulfilling his ultimate purpose of why he is on earth in the first place. Allah knows best.
