Someone made me look demanding for saying this
Replying to @buodataye
If I love someone, that person will be my priority. I will always make sure to reply to them before texting or posting anything else because they are constantly on my mind. Therefore, I feel that breaking up with her for that reason is completely valid.

AFTER 17 YEARS… THE LINE RUNS AGAIN. 25/08/2026 Yesterday marked a significant milestone in the journey to bring Okin Biscuits back. For the first time in 17 years, biscuits rolled off one of our rehabilitated production lines at the factory in Offa. We had to rebuild the line after having all cables, frequency drives, contactors, motors and other electronic components stolen This was a technical TRIAL RUN - NOT a product trial. At this stage, we were not concerned about colour, appearance or achieving the final Okin recipe. The objective was simple: Can we bring this line, silent for 17 years, back to life? And we did ! And there was another major milestone: IBEDC officially connected the factory to a 33Kva Band A electricity grid today. There is still work ahead. More testing. More calibration. More rehabilitation. And, of course, getting that familiar Okin taste and quality exactly right before the biscuits return to the market. But today, we celebrate progress. The machines are turning. The ovens are firing. The biscuits are beginning to roll out again. One step at a time. Okin is coming back. #OkinBiscuits #OkinIsComingBack #Since1980 #MadeInNigeria #Offa #Ijagbo

I’m sure those cancer cells are somewhere laughing at me 😂… If I had known cancer would eventually win, I don’t think I would have bragged so much about defeating it twice. Lol
I DEFEATED CANCER TWICE… I know some of you are probably tired of hearing me say this, if you survived something that tried to end you twice, you too will talk… 🤣😂

Respectfully sir, I have deliberately stayed out of this discussion out of respect for your person. I knew people would see the things I saw and respond accordingly. Alhamdulillah, I've seen quite a number of balanced takes already. But then no one seemed to be talking about the one sentence that really caught my attention. The part where you said "she needs to feed his need to lead." And I thought to myself... Isn't this exactly how our mothers unintentionally raised many of the men we are now struggling with? By constantly cushioning their egos. By making it a woman's responsibility to protect a man's self-esteem at all costs. Here's a man who, according to the story, inherited a thriving family business and ran it aground. Fair enough, people fail. That can happen to anyone. But now he wants to take over the business his wife built? The very one he didn't want her to start. Doesn't that already tell us where the real problem is? At what point does she get to just be the wife? The weaker vessel, the one whose responsibility is only to support. The same wife we constantly remind to submit to the head of the family. Because from your advice, she now has to become his confidence coach, his business adviser, his financier, his ego booster, his emotional support system, his PR manager, and somehow still remain the submissive wife. How? Then he topped it all off with the threat of divorce. And honestly, that's where I completely checked out. Because it tells us the believe the every woman's greatest fear should be losing her marriage. Why? Because society has spent generations teaching women that a divorced woman has somehow failed. That an unmarried woman deserves less respect. It's the same mindset that fuels all the weekly conversations shaming women over age, marriage, fertility, finances... there's always something. Then there's the issue of control. I have always believed that many men mistake leadership for control. The moment they can't control a woman, they suddenly feel they've lost their place. But leadership and control are not the same thing. Don't get me wrong. I believe in supporting your spouse. I believe in building together. I believe marriage should be the safest place either partner ever experiences. But I also don't believe in making one partner responsible for raising the other into adulthood. If this story is exactly as the woman narrated it, then this man doesn't need a wife who constantly feeds his need to lead. He needs to rediscover himself. Because a man whose identity depends on his wife pretending he is in charge isn't leading. He's surviving on borrowed confidence. And I don't think that's fair to either of them. – at Ilorin, Nigeria
Elders say that when a man loses his footing, the ground shakes for everyone around him. Everything I will be saying here is the wisdom I got from my father. Let me tell you one hard truth. Your husband is not fighting you; he is fighting his own shame. You said he took over a successful family business and brought it to ruin right? While you thrive? That is a huge confidence breaker. His demand to take over your business is not about the children needing attention. It is a desperate attempt to feel like a leader and a provider again. No let anyone whine you. And here you are. You do not want to lose your business and you do not want to lose your marriage. But there is a way our mothers handled it. A lot of our grandmothers were very wealthy market women, sometimes richer than their husbands. But they understood that a man's ego will never allow him to sit at home and watch his wife feed him everyday. If you fight him head on over ownership, he will become toxic and he will find faults in everything you do just to prove he is the head of the house. Don’t go that route. Instead, our mothers survived this by practicing invisible leadership. They gave the man influence without handing over the treasury. Firstly, do not fight him face to face. Bring in that one uncle or elder he respects deeply. Let the elder soften the ground and make him see that taking your shop will not rebuild his father's company. After the elder has spoken, sit him down and make him the chairman of your business. Let him handle the big suppliers, the landlords, or the government people. Give him a title that commands respect when he steps outside. But keep the bank tokens and the daily market operations in your own hands. You also have to feed his need to lead. Consult him on things you already have the answers to. Ask him if you should buy ten cartons or fifteen, even when you know you are buying fifteen. It makes him feel in charge of the family vision. Then, if the business is making good profit, free up some capital for him. Tell him you want him to use his experience to start a new branch or a completely different venture. Give him his own project to build. When a man has his own vision to chase, he will stop fighting you for yours. That is how you keep your home peaceful and protect the sweat of your hands. Allah knows best.

Not even sure to begin. I just want to use it today to encourage every Single mothers here tonight. This girl was a year old when we left , Brother was a month old. All I could see was darkness, I was totally Depressed, Frustrated and Helpless.. But God said No. My parents stepped up and took us back, I left Single but returned with 3 children under 5 years of age a sick woman .. Today it's all History, I wish I could share the details of what this girl represents not just as a daughter but a youth worker , Hopefully one Day . 15 plus years later, And it's all praise and gratitude. It wasn't easy, far from it, the career paid a price but Hard work took over and we focused on Healing and making money enough to ensure we can at least live well. To the Glory of God we made it . Over £700 later on budget we got this look as She wanted and She absolutely loved it. As a Mum I feel so proud. She got Prom ticket free, Saved me £150 because of Her efforts with School work Again not a Single Contribution from the Father, I say this So you Know that With God,Hardwork, Focus work, Smart work , Resilience and refusing to take No for an Answer, You will eventually pull through. I may not be money rich yet but my life is very full and absolutely beautiful with amazing people in it and we are building our success one day at a time Man or No Man. Yes I remarried but I am absolutely clear that my Children's financial burden is not His to carry and I am very deliberate about it . I still work very hard but God is merciful , So as a woman, I beg you, No matter where you are today, Never give up on Hope, Keep grinding, Don't give any Man the chance to rubbish you because you are a single mother.. Keep adding Value and believe Me when I say Na dem go dey rush you when they see what you are and represent.. You are not condemned or useless, Don't accept that Tag. You are very Valuable. Go upskill and let you become the best role model to your children. Your Children can and will be successful by God's grace, They will be balanced and i Dear Say even some Married but living single will even become envious of you Please do not write yourself off when God has not finished with you Thank you @cruise_vibez Everything , the outfits, beads, all of it were sorted by Her including the design, Tailoring, all of it. I am so grateful. She was very patient with Mayowa and ensured Her preferences were prioritised and actualised. It will only get better insha Allah. Keep grinding

My mum is dying, please help retweet😩🙏
Call for help. My mum was hit with a stroke in may 2024. Since then our lives haven't remained the same. My family have spent all our savings yet her condition hasn't changed. She has severe BP challenge, she has diabetes. Which has gone on to take a toll on her kidneys.
