OH ALSO odelath as a character is a perfect example of a modern reconstruction of the early greek tragic hero. btw. the only difference between him and a tragic hero of aeschylus is that he’s allowed the mercy of death. but that’s a separate thread.

as much as ive loved the moments in canon where it's been explicitly made clear that lizzie and ava were lovers, i really like that we dont know the details. with ava's life and memory completely depersonalized, it's somewhat poignant that she gets to keep her love to herself.
