Do you have any experts on the topic or will they all be religious speakers?

The goal of CSE, which will be integrated at all levels of education, is to “develop” the skills of young people for them to “make informed decisions.” rappler.com/newsbreak/iq/thi…

We can't leave our health to chance. At Roots of Health, we improve access to credible sexual and reproductive health info and non-judgmental contraceptive services so women and youth can plan their families, reduce maternal deaths, and help families thrive #WorldContraceptionDay
Actually the biggest barrier to effectively addressing HIV in the Philippines is adult discomfort with young people being sexual beings. Lack of funds and information stem from that. #HIV newsinfo.inquirer.net/197212…

Another group, Roots of Health, cites a UP study that found that 30% of people aged 15 to 24 still believe "it is the wife’s duty to have sex with her husband whenever he wants it," and calls for the urgent need to teach people about the importance of consent. rappler.com/philippines/cons…
August is Intl Youth Month. No one should be coerced into sex, whether in a long-term relationship or not. Let’s work together to guide young people in making informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive health and rights, so they can develop and thrive. #(10/10)

The recent controversy around @SenRobinhood is a wake-up call. We all have a responsibility to understand and promote the importance of #consent, especially to our children. We call on the PH gov, particularly @DepEd_PH, to fulfill its mandate and roll out CSE now. (9)
But our efforts alone are not enough. We need the @deped to implement comprehensive sexuality education as mandated by the 2012 Reproductive Health Law and the 2018 DepEd memo. Teachers need proper training to confidently and effectively teach these essential topics. (8)
We conduct community sessions and promote digital platforms like malayaako.ph, and the I CHOOSE and Usapang K FB pages, to reach young ppl with credible, non-judgmental info in Tagalog. Consent is one of our most popular topics. (7)
The YAFS5 and our own Youth Survey indicate that young people often turn to social media, family, and friends for information on sex and relationships. Unfortunately, many older generations, including figures like Senator Padilla, lack accurate knowledge themselves. (6)
Our research shows that a significant percentage of first sexual encounters among young people are unplanned, and many are coerced. This contributes to high rates of teen pregnancy, single parent households, abortion, and the rapid spread of STIs, including HIV. (5)
Over 30 percent of young people – males and females aged 15 to 24 – in the four regions we work in believe “it is the wife’s duty to have sex with her husband whenever he wants it” (3)
While this may seem like common sense, many Filipinos share Senator Padilla’s view as shown by our analysis of the 2021 Young Fertility and Sexuality Study (YAFS5) by the University of the Philippines Population Institute. (2)

Atty. Lorna Kapunan was right to enlighten @SenRobinhood on marital #consent during the recent Senate hearing on sexual harassment, stressing that both spouses have the right to refuse sex, even within marriage. (1)
