What a privilege to operate ZW5B, one of the world's largest and most award-winning amateur radio contest stations, owned by our friend PY5EG. An extraordinary station in a magnificent place, where the spirit and passion of amateur radio thrive all year round! – at Goiânia, Brazil
Very nice days on the Araguaia River: nature, relaxing, good food, friendship and amateur radio. – at Goiânia, Brazil
In two days operating on the farm, I managed to work 3Y0K on four slots: 20, 17, and 15m (FT8) with 40W and 17m CW (100W) using just a 1/4 wave ground plane and the IC-7300.
How wonderful it is to enjoy the beautiful nature of the farm, and even more so when contemplating this view with the station set up on the porch of the house. QRV HF and satellites in GH52dx.
3Y0K on QO-100 with a massive pile-up (~80 kHz wide)!
Glad to work this rare DX from one of the most remote places on Earth.
Thanks Alex DL2ALY for the excellent operation.
As part of the celebrations of the 92nd anniversary of LABRE–Brazilian Amateur Radio League, I will be operating the special callsign ZV2GO via satellite (QO-100 and LEO) and also on the HF bands in all modes throughout the month of february. Grid GH53jg.

Living in an apartment in a densely populated area, the noise level on HF is always very high. Today morning in the CQ WW CW I had a pleasant surprise with low noise levels on 20, 15 and 10 meters.
10 years ago I met @AstroIronMike in Dayton. What a nice and friendly person! Before that I had a couple QSO’s with him aboard the ISS. I remember Mike greeting me on the radio: "Good morning Ron, good morning Brazil!"
I wish Mike an excellent mission and I do hope to hear him greeting me again when passing over Brazil. 73 de PP2RON @AMSAT
