Early prototype of "BattleCrew" which is a game loosely inspired by tabletop games like NecroMunda and software games like X-Com or Jagged Alliance II. Thought it might be fun to make it seem like it's being played in a game room. Very early graphics. Mostly toying around with game mechanics first.

Finally had the chance to check out @adamdotnew with Adobe Fusion and my Bambu P2S. First thing I tried for a test print was a holder for my Playstation 3 controllers. Let it jam along and now I have a basic print sitting in Bambu ready to roll! Dig it! It's nothing too fancy and I'll be editing it more ahead of printing

I've been enjoying experimenting with Procedural Level Generation with AI Players of different skill levels trying to navigate it. This is an obby style theme but there's others in there like FPS. You can try out the early tests here ronmillar.com/proclvl/ #procgen #procedural #aiprocgen

Ever see that scene in Blade Runner where Deckard's using the ESPER machine to zoom in and move around a 2D photo in 3D and saying things like Track right and ENHANCE 120 to 180. I made a version of that for fun tonight. Check it out here ronmillar.com/esper

I recently built this X account and site aicookd.com to track interesting AI generated creations. Check it out if that's something you're into. 🤖
I’m building aicookd.com — a simple ever updating list of the freshest AI games and creations (Astra, Fable, Gemini, and whatever else shows up). If that’s useful, follow along. Bookmark this post if you want an easy way back.

One of my best years in game dev was working on and shipping Warcraft 2 with all the talented folks on that team. It had a ton of firsts. It also took us 11 months from start to finish. One of my favorite moments after launch was in a computer cafe in Germany watching a bunch of kids playing each other and having a blast never knowing who I was. I'll never forget that.
Exactly 30 years ago, in September 1996, these were the top 10 best-selling PC games. ⭐️ Real-time strategy: 2x ⭐️ Turn-based strategy: 2x ⭐️ First-person shooter: 2x ⭐️ Adventure: 1x ⭐️ Roleplaying Game: 1x ⭐️ Sports: 2x Your personal #1 from that list?

I was interviewed recently by Ahmed from "Behind the Worlds" and had a ton of fun. I delve into some topics I never have from my career. youtu.be/5Qa5Y5E-Q3I?si=uPYD… I'm now part of the insanely cool @NiloTechInc with @NunoPLeiria funded by @a16z @supercell and other illustrious investors. As you might know I have been part of some pretty game changing efforts like @Blizzard_Ent @VRChat and more. I couldn’t be more excited to see Nilo be yet another of these.
