Maybe. Or maybe many see Trump for exactly what he is and they like it because it gives them permission to be the same way.

it boggles my mind that almost the entire global political class just decided they would not accept scientific fact, as if through will alone they could suppress the laws of nature. It’s the very definition of fuck around and find out.
