Freedom was, and continues to be worth fighting for! I don't agree with everyone's choice, but I'm more than ready to stand strong to protect them and the many freedoms that all Canadians enjoy.

Just another way of saying "I have no clue about groceries"
Grocery prices are the results of an extensive supply chain incl. farmers, processors, transportation, energy costs, labour, packaging, rent, financing, and taxes. The retailer is simply the final step in a very long/expensive process.
NOTE: Today higher diesel & fertilizer costs will impact processing, packaging, the cost of running machinery, feed stock and transportation.
The average net profit margin for groceries (ie food not cosmetics, pharmacy, pet care, cleaning products etc) is between 2%-4%
If elected, Emily Lowan's BC Greens would push to create a provincially owned & operated grocery store chain, starting with 20 locations.
Offering affordable prices for grocery essentials.

BC NDP Leader David Eby promises $30M to open Kelowna General’s empty sixth floor. It’s been unfinished since 2012, including nine years of NDP government. A Conservative MLA campaigned for it for two years, and health officials were already planning it before the election.

BC NDP Leader David Eby promises $30M to open the sixth floor at Kelowna General Hospital, crediting local NDP candidates for “pushing hard for this.” The need is real. Kelowna General is frequently over capacity, and the unused floor could hold a permanent inpatient unit.
What the post doesn’t mention: the floor has sat unfinished since the tower opened in 2012, including nine years under the NDP. Conservative MLA Gavin Dew has campaigned for the space for two years, raising it repeatedly in the legislature. Leaked memos reported in May showed Interior Health and the Health Ministry were already planning the expansion. And the promise came four days before the election.

Liberal Prime Minister Mark Carney says Budget 2026, coming November 5, is “our plan to build a stronger, more competitive, more independent Canada.” The date is confirmed.
What the post doesn’t mention: Budget 2025 projected a $78.3B deficit, the largest in Canadian history outside the pandemic, and far above the $42.2B the previous Liberal government had forecast. It dropped the long-standing goal of reducing the debt-to-GDP ratio. The Parliamentary Budget Officer now says deficits will run about $3B a year higher than it projected in June, and that the government will miss one of its two remaining fiscal anchors.

EDITORIAL: What Alberta really wants
While 75% of Albertans chose to remain in Canada in Monday’s referendum, most want change from status quo. Carney asked Albertans to vote 'no' to the other 9 questions. They voted 'yes' to 8

If you ever wondered which side of the fence you sit on, this is a great test!
If a Conservative doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one.
If a Liberal doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.
If a Conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn't eat meat.
If a Liberal is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.
If a Conservative is homosexual, he quietly leads his life.
If a Liberal is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.
If a Conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
A Liberal wonders who is going to take care of him.
If a Conservative doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels.
Liberals demand that those they don't like be shut down.
If a Conservative is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church.
A Liberal non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced.
If a Conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
A Liberal demands that the rest of us pay for his.
If a Conservative reads this, he'll forward it so his friends can have a good laugh.
A Liberal will delete it because he's "offended".

The PBO issued a SCATHING INDICTMENT of Carney's fiscal plan.
The "Master Economist" will BREAK his OWN benchmark of a declining deficit-to-GDP ratio.
He has BLOWN UP his ONLY fiscal guardrail, after DOUBLING Trudeau's deficit.

Remember how the media for the past few weeks was saying Carney is very popular in Alberta and they don't like Danielle Smith anymore?
Albertans voted in support of EIGHT of the immigration and constitutional questions that Danielle Smith supported.
They only voted against ONE of them, despite Carney telling them to vote against all nine.
Did Carney once again believe his own propaganda about Alberta?

BREAKING -
Canada approved over 722,000 work permits in just the first 8 months of 2026.
Ottawa claims it's "fixing" immigration while still processing permits by the hundreds of thousands.
68,300 Canadians lost their jobs in September.
On Nov 3rd, they’re dropping the rule that you even have to try to hire a Canadian first.
The Prime Minister told us he’s taken control of immigration but all he’s done is manage the optics of it.

After 11 years of Liberal government, Canadians are working harder, paying more, and falling further behind. The cost of living is crushing household budgets, and Canadians are running out of room to make ends meet.
Today, the Liberals voted NO to a Conservative motion to address Canada’s affordability crisis.
Canadians deserve real action, accountability, and results — not more excuses.

I am in QP.
We, Conservatives, just asked the government why they gave a $12,000,000 contract to an American company rather than the Canadian Commissionaires who had a similar bid.
Minister Wayne Long just said, “we stand by this decision”.
Unreal.
Hire Canadians. Period.

Desperate David Eby defends his campaign's sleazy attempts to mislead voters with partisan letters that try to look like they're coming from Elections BC. How low can he go?
Q: ...the envelope itself, there's no such indication and there's no other indication that it's from the NDP. It says election 2026. It says time sensitive open immediately… it's not hard to imagine that somebody would think it came from Elections BC or some kind of official entity and is not partisan. The only reference to the NDP is the small print on the bottom of the second page. Just wanted to get your reaction. Is that ethical? Is that appropriate? Do you have concerns with that? Or is that, you know, something that you support?
EBY: Well, we use a variety of tools to talk to British Columbians. Direct mailers, radio ads, internet ads, press conferences. It is hard to reach people on such important issues like the election.

🇨🇦💰📉🤥 : François-Philippe Champagne accuses the Conservative party of talking down the Canadian economy, after the Liberals failed for the third year in a row, to meet their own economic growth promises.
At some point Champagne needs to get new talking points. Rebranding the same lies from 3 years ago, is getting really tiresome.
