Trump had the strongest chance of retaining Republican control over the Senate and House in the midterms by unleashing military support for Ukraine to defeat Russia.
Instead he chose to side with Russia against Ukraine as a political hail mary. It failed and this betrayal could very well lead to his removal from office.

Comment from me: Ukrainian Defense Forces, who are currently resisting Russia, are in fact the main deterrent holding Russia back. That is why Russia is doing everything it can to stop funding for the Ukrainian army and break Ukraine. Then Europe would be left defenseless.

This is pathetic. Ukraine tested Starlink speed restrictions in Europe and had no issues - the restrictions only exist in Ukraine.
The Trump administration is actively helping Russia kill Ukrainians - and risking the lives of US and NATO advisors in Ukraine.
Latest: Zelenskyy tells reporters over WhatsApp that restrictions on Ukraine's Starlink systems remain. Interceptor drones can't function, logistics and operations hobbled. The maximum speed is 161 kph; "exceeding this limit causes the Starlink connection to cut out completely, resulting in the loss of the drone."
He says Ukraine has done tests to determine whether SpaceX is truly facing technical issues, as has been told Kyiv by the US side, or if this is a "deliberate operation... to restrict us, cut us off, and prevent us from defending ourselves and protecting our people, both at the front and among the civilian population."
He says Ukraine "sent a couple of vehicles equipped with Starlink terminals into European Union territory."
"They moved at speeds exceeding 180kph, and the Starlink systems worked perfectly. We have the relevant logs and evidence to prove this."
He adds: "The conclusion is clear: the restrictions are in effect within Ukraine but do not apply within the European Union. In other words, this is a planned operation."

Trump has taken actions against Ukraine two weeks before the election that are wildly unpopular with both the public and Congress. This suggests that he simply doesn’t care about the elections and is laying groundwork for actions between now and January 3.

Trump is trying to gift Ukraine to Putin, likely because Putin has threatened Trump that unless he forces Ukraine to capitulate, he will release all the dirt he has on the Donald - the Epstein tapes, and other horrors we know nothing about, yet.
Putin knows Trump's time is almost up. That's the kicker. That appears to be why he's applying the pressure now.
Putin knows how to play Trump like a fiddle. He is so easily manipulated. You see Trump doesn't actually realize how much deep shit he is in with the Russians, until he steps in deeper and deeper. And once you get into bed with the Russians, it's really difficult to escape.

The actions of the 🇺🇸 US administration have consequences.
Recent reports from 4 sources confirm that both Elon and Trump supported the restrictions of Starshield, which confirms my earlier posts stating that SpaceX is involved and part of it.
The Telegraph on Oct. 16 reported that it was Musk who proposed the speed cap to Trump — and Trump "agreed," one source said.
That sounds very likely to what really had happened including Elons denial to have any responsibility (half true) and Trumps lie which is just one more of the many he spreads every day. finance.yahoo.com/economy/po…
