๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Validator onboarding is open. Now they can become part of the network for real: applications for the Orbinum Testnet validator set are open. Testnet validators are the ones we will know. Uptime, responsiveness, how a node behaves when the network is under load, none of that can be assessed from an application form. It is earned by running one. The operators who secure testnet are the operators we will turn to first for mainnet. ๐Ÿ“‹ What it takes: ๐Ÿ”น A server with dedicated CPU, ZK verification runs inside block execution ๐Ÿ”น Session keys registered on-chain ๐Ÿ”น Your node visible on telemetry, this one is required ๐Ÿ”น An email to [email protected] ๐Ÿ”— docs.orbinum.network/validatโ€ฆ We also rewrote the node documentation from scratch. talisman
๐Ÿ” Talisman now pays more. Link a Talisman Substrate address to your Orbinum account and every on-chain quest pays +5 credits. It is also the safest way to use Orbinum. Your private identity comes from an origin-bound signature we built with the Talisman team: the wallet supplies the origin, not the page asking for it, so a hostile site gets different bytes and whatever it derives controls nothing. An EVM signature cannot do that. Substrate can. ๐Ÿ”น Install Talisman โ†’ talisman.xyz/ ๐Ÿ”น Create a new Substrate address ๐Ÿ”น In your account, open the Wallet tab and update your linked wallet ๐Ÿ”น Sign in again and start earning +5 per quest Your private notes stay with the wallet that holds them, so move funds yourself before switching. You can switch back anytime. ๐Ÿ™Œ Thanks to @wearetalisman for building this with us. #Orbinum #Talisman #Substrate #ZK #Privacy #Web3 #Wallet #Quests

update
๐Ÿ“ก Orbinum Testnet: infrastructure update. We have been working on network architecture and node infrastructure to improve stability, and we just expanded Orbinum's own validator infrastructure with additional nodes. More validators means more fault tolerance: the network now keeps finalizing even if one of them goes down. ๐Ÿ”— telemetry.orbinum.network And thank you to everyone already running a node with us. Several community nodes are on the dashboard right now, and validator onboarding is getting closer, those nodes will officially become part of the Orbinum network. ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Not running one yet? Spin up your own RPC node and test against the real network: ๐Ÿ”— github.com/orbinum/node-deplโ€ฆ Copy an .env.example, fill in a few variables, docker compose up. #Orbinum #Testnet #Validators #Nodes #Infrastructure #ZK #Privacy #Web3 #Docker #BuildInPublic

network telemetry
๐Ÿ“ก Orbinum Testnet telemetry is live. Our nodes are up and running on the new setup, all of them deployed from node-deploy. See them here: ๐Ÿ”— telemetry.orbinum.network Block height, finalized blocks, peers, propagation time and location, live for every node on the network. ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ You can run one too. Validator onboarding is coming. In the meantime, spin up your own RPC node and test against the real network: ๐Ÿ”— github.com/orbinum/node-deplโ€ฆ Copy an .env.example, fill in a few variables, docker compose up. The image ships from GHCR and the chain spec is already in the repo, so there is nothing to build. Your node joins the testnet and shows up on the dashboard next to ours. Spin one up and tell us what breaks. #Orbinum #Testnet #Validators #Nodes #Infrastructure #ZK #Privacy #Web3 #Docker #BuildInPublic

โšก Four weeks of Orbinum Testnet. Week three doubled down. Week four kept the pace: ๐Ÿ”น 400,000+ blocks produced ๐Ÿ”น 132,000+ transactions, up 45% from week three ๐Ÿ”น 244,000+ commitment leaves in the Merkle tree, up 58% ๐Ÿ”น 91,000+ ORB in the shielded pool, up 36% Four straight weeks of compounding growth. The shielded pool has grown every single week since day one, and the tree is now 244K leaves deep. ๐Ÿ™Œ Four weeks. Zero interruptions. And that's on you. Every transaction you send, every note you shield, every bug you report tells us something we couldn't learn any other way. Real usage at real scale is what exposes the rough edges, and you've been finding them for us week after week. That feedback is going straight back into the protocol: faster flows, smoother wallet experience, fewer surprises. This is exactly what a testnet is for, and it's why Orbinum will reach mainnet solid instead of hopeful. Thank you for building it with us. Want to verify the numbers yourself? more private
๐Ÿงพ Payment Slips for private transfers. Private transfers just got easier to receive. When you send from your Private Vault, you now get a payment slip, share it, and the recipient imports their funds instantly. No chain scanning on their side. How it works: ๐Ÿ”น Make a private transfer from your vault ๐Ÿ”น A payment slip is generated with the transfer ๐Ÿ”น Share it with the recipient, any channel you like ๐Ÿ”น They import it and the funds appear. Done. The slip holds only what the recipient needs to detect the note, no spending keys, so it grants nothing on its own. ๐Ÿ“– How payment slips work โ†’ docs.orbinum.network/privateโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ”—Try it โ†’ app.orbinum.network/wallet/sโ€ฆ Private by default. ๐Ÿ”’ Runtime upgrade is live on Orbinum testnet. Security hardening. A batch of audit fixes landed in the shielded pool. Full detail in the PR ๐Ÿ‘‡ ๐Ÿ”— github.com/orbinum/node/pullโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ”น No more shield minimum. You used to need a whole token. Now shield any non-zero amount, down to a single unit. ๐Ÿ”น Note backups. We removed automatic scanning. Export your notes as a JSON file and import them on any of your devices, no chain scan. The backup holds only public data, no spending keys, so it grants nothing on its own. Rescan still works from the chain, but now it's a manual fallback, for lost storage or a fresh device, not the default. ๐Ÿ“– How recovery works โ†’ docs.orbinum.network/privateโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ”— Try it โ†’ app.orbinum.network/wallet/sโ€ฆ Private by default. more
โœ‚๏ธ Less surface. More focus. We just removed the private_link circuit and the entire account-mapping implementation from Orbinum. Runtime upgraded, circuit retired, on-chain registry purged, npm package cleaned. Why remove a feature? Because focus is a feature. ๐Ÿ”น Every circuit we ship is attack surface: more audits, more maintenance, more places for vulnerabilities to hide ๐Ÿ”น Cross-chain identity linking was pulling energy away from what actually matters ๐Ÿ”น Our core is the shielded pool, and it deserves 100% of our ZK effort And here's the thing: the shielded pool already does the connecting. Today you can send a private transfer from an EVM address to an SS58 (Substrate) address, seamlessly. Tomorrow? Maybe a Solana address. The pool is the bridge, no extra circuits, no identity mapping, no added surface. That's the direction we're doubling down on. The rest of that effort goes where you feel it: solving real problems like fast note recovery, hardening the proving pipeline, and scaling the pool. Three circuits. One mission. Shield, transfer, unshield. Private by default, across address types. ๐Ÿ“ฆ Updated package: npmjs.com/package/@orbinum/cโ€ฆ The testnet keeps running, the pool keeps growing, and the codebase just got lighter and safer. Cut deep, build focused. #Orbinum #Testnet #ZK #Privacy #Web3 #Crypto #Blockchain #DeFi #Security #Interoperability #BuildInPublic

good
โšก Three weeks of Orbinum Testnet. Week two accelerated. Week three doubled down: ๐Ÿ”น 300,000+ blocks produced ๐Ÿ”น 91,000+ transactions, up 69% from week two ๐Ÿ”น 154,000+ commitment leaves in the Merkle tree, up 103% ๐Ÿ”น 67,000+ ORB in the shielded pool, up 131% The shielded pool didn't just grow. It more than doubled. In seven days, you added more ORB to the pool than in the first two weeks combined. ๐Ÿ“ˆ But growth comes with a challenge, and we're facing it head-on. As commitment leaves pile up, note scanning gets slower: every wallet has to sift through more and more of the tree to find its own notes. This is the problem every privacy blockchain before us has hit, and none has truly solved. It's our top priority: a unique solution that recovers the notes of any address instantly, no matter how big the tree gets. The multi-tree forest removed the ceiling on capacity. This removes the ceiling on speed. Want to verify the numbers yourself? Everything is public: ๐Ÿ” explorer.testnet.orbinum.netโ€ฆ Check the Overview and ZK Pool sections. โš™๏ธ Runtime upgrade live on Orbinum Testnet. Multi-Tree Forest is shipped. The 1,048,576-note ceiling is gone. When a Merkle tree fills up, the network seals it and opens a fresh one, automatically. Sealed trees keep a permanent root, so every note inside stays spendable forever. No caps, no migration, no action needed from you. Zero changes to circuits or transaction formats. Your wallet didn't need an update. It just kept working ๐Ÿ“Š Where we stand: 88,000+ commitments, 8.4% of the first tree. The first rollover is roughly a million notes away, we built it before we needed it, which is the only time worth building it. Privacy that stops scaling stops being privacy. This one doesn't stop. ๐Ÿ”— github.com/orbinum/node/pullโ€ฆ #Orbinum #Testnet #ZK #Privacy #Web3 #Crypto #EVM #Blockchain #DeFi #Scaling #Milestone

great
Today, risk intelligence is largely opaque and self-assessed. Teams publish metrics and communities form opinions. Decisions are made on sentiment and reputation, and nobody scores the assessment against what actually happens next. Endure will change the structure. Miners will submit risk recommendations for specific targets, and validators will score them against realized market behavior: price movements, liquidity changes, volatility events. Accurate models will gain influence and inaccurate ones will lose weight. The output will be a continuously scored, independent risk signal feeding directly into products. Not sentiment, not reputation. Scored intelligence. $TAO SN30.

๐Ÿ” The hardest problem in private money: finding your own notes. In a shielded pool, no one can see which notes are yours, not even the network. Privacy by design. But it cuts both ways: your wallet can't just ask "which notes are mine?" without revealing exactly what privacy is supposed to hide. So every wallet has to try-decrypt the entire pool. Every note, one by one. It's the scan problem, and every privacy chain has fought it: Monero shipped view tags, Zcash built compact blocks. Years of open research that we get to stand on, and push further. Today we published Orbinum SDK 0.16.0, a major upgrade to note scanning: ๐Ÿ”น View tags โ†’ a 1-byte filter skips 99.6% of foreign notes without decrypting ๐Ÿ”น Self-note discovery โ†’ your own notes (shields, change) are recognized with zero trial decryption, a step we haven't seen any chain ship before ๐Ÿ”น 17ร— faster curve math on the scanning hot path ๐Ÿ”— PR: github.com/orbinum/ts-sdk/puโ€ฆ #Orbinum #Testnet #ZK #Privacy #Web3 #Crypto #EVM #Blockchain #DeFi #Monero #Zcash #OpenSource

Every blockchain is shaped by the design decisions made at its foundation. At Retium, every design decision begins with a simple question: That philosophy led us to rethink one of the most common components in blockchain architecture: ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—น. Rather than relying on a public waiting area where pending transactions accumulate before block inclusion, Retium's architecture uses the ๐—ฅ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ to direct transactions to available open blocks within PrimeMesh. This reflects a different approach to transaction flow. Instead of optimizing a shared queue, Retium is designed to route transactions through multiple available processing paths as determined by its architecture. The goal isn't simply to make an existing model faster. It's to rethink how transactions move through the network from the very beginning. As with every engineering decision, this approach comes with its own design trade-offs. The upcoming public testnet will give the community the opportunity to experience this architecture under real-world conditions and help validate its behavior.

๐Ÿ”‘ What's a disclosure key? Orbinum notes are private by default. Nobody sees them but you. A disclosure key changes that, for one note, for one person you choose. That's selective disclosure. Not "public or private." Private, and you pick who sees what. Every note has a disclosure key: a short 'orbdisc:โ€ฆ' string that proves the note's contents without exposing your wallet or your other notes. Share it, and the receiver can verify that one note. Nothing else. How it works in the Testnet Quests: ๐Ÿ”น Capture โ†’ open a note in your wallet, copy its disclosure key ๐Ÿ”น Share โ†’ hand the 'orbdisc:โ€ฆ' key to another member, any channel ๐Ÿ”น Claim โ†’ paste a key someone else shared with you into the Selective Disclosure quest The quest rewards the receiver, not the sharer. To claim, the key has to be for someone else's note, not your own. Ask a friend, they ask you back. Both sides earn ORB Credits. Any note works. No minimum amount. Each note can be claimed once, ever, so use fresh keys. ๐Ÿ”— Run the quest: app.orbinum.network/communitโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ“– Guide: docs.orbinum.network/communiโ€ฆ Privacy you control, one key at a time. #Orbinum #Testnet #ZK #Privacy #Web3 #Crypto #EVM #Blockchain #DeFi #SelectiveDisclosure #Community
