A new week so what news will @tZERO bring us?
Replying to @tZERO
@tZERO things I’d like to know:
Is there still a Tier 1 to be announced?
Is there any update from CFTC?
Is there a time for the semi-annual auction and who will participate?
Is there a schedule for 100% roll out of the App?
Last but certainly not least, I’d love see some numbers on deals made?
You mean like @tZERO announced in a December 8, 2025 press release. Effective December 15, 2025, their ATS would support 24/7 order entry and 23.5 hours of trading on business days, with execution windows from 12:05am to 11:35pm ET, Monday through Friday.
🇺🇸BREAKING: U.S. stock markets will begin trading 23 hours a day, 5 days a week from December 6
The planned trading week will run from Sunday evening through Friday evening, with a one-hour daily maintenance break.
Nasdaq and NYSE Arca are among the venues preparing for expanded hours, while the regular 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. session remains unchanged.
The SEC is upgrading market infrastructure for 23/5 trading, with full 24/7 trading potentially coming later.
Brokers will decide which securities and overnight services customers can access, while thinner liquidity could mean wider spreads and greater volatility.

Update: @tZERO strikes back (9/18)
tZERO highlights @Securitize S-1 claims its tokenization tech is "a fundamental shift" that will "materially improve efficiency" and "accelerate innovation." Now that tZERO says that same tech infringes its patents, Securitize tells the court it's just generic "escrow."
Patent highlights:
'996: requires a two-part cryptographic proof. The destination address and its public key must both be mathematically derivable from the private key that signed the request, preventing transfers to addresses the sender doesn't control.
'802: requires compliance rules to live in a smart contract separate from the token itself, so rules can be updated without touching the token's code. Securitize's motion relies on a representative claim that skips this limitation.
tZERO also notes that whether these elements were conventional is a factual question, not one a court can decide on a motion to dismiss: 4 of 5 patents already survived Section 101 rejection at the PTO.

Damn Jack Campbell is good, need to seek out the full filing from Pacer or Court Listener??

I’m sure there’s someone out there that is far more informed on @tZERO patent/IP portfolio but it seems like these may have direct connection to TSV: Self-Enforcing Security Token Compliance System; Upgradable Security Token Architecture, Splittable Security Token Structure
I’m guessing the regulators have become familiar with @tZERO since @Alan_Konevsky has taken the reigns
I assume that with everything @tZERO has been working on and with the affiliation with @DinariGlobal TSV approval should come relatively quickly.
This thread describes what many of us have been waiting for in tokenized securities. The cake is not finished baking yet but it is in the oven. @Alan_Konevsky and @tZERO team are executing in a fast paced industry that is coming to our markets

We will have more to say later today but this is a significant step by the @SECGov in recognizing the role of tokenized assets and DeiFi functionality - supported by robust market infrastructure, connective tissue for other institutional market participants, technology and IP/patents @tZERO really excels at. Way more to come! @SavinoVaness

@tZERO @Alan_Konevsky @marcuslemonis @medici_ventures chatGPT did this logo I explained what tZero is and it built a logo around the rails.
CLARITY fell short yesterday. The broader direction of travel did not.
Market structure legislation is one path. SEC and CFTC rulemaking, coordination and existing regulatory frameworks are others.
Meanwhile, the infrastructure continues to develop.
@tZERO has spent years building regulated blockchain infrastructure across brokerage, trading, custody, tokenization and asset servicing, with DCO and DCM applications pending as we look to extend that infrastructure into CFTC-regulated markets.
The transition will not happen through a single bill, announcement or platform.
It will happen as regulated infrastructure, institutional adoption and market structure increasingly converge.
The rails are being built. The market will follow.
My two cents worth zero

@tzero and @Alan_Konevsky lead the way
Onward and upward @tZERO
Regulatory compliant rails exist for those wanting to move forward. Infrastructure is everything and IP is key

Lets see what all the @AlderLaneEggs haters have to say today? They are a peculiar group as they seem to embrace @PatrickByrne who admits he hasn't paid attention since the days of Maria Butina while they diss someone that is all in on @tZERO and steps up and puts his $$ on the line. The anti Marc crowd are not worth paying attention to.

@tZERO has announced a new funding round led by existing investors Marc and Max Cohodes, with participation from @ICE_Markets, investor Bill Fleckenstein, partner @DinariGlobal, and others. Neighborhood Intelligence also committed to support the financing round with its portion to be funded when tZERO announces a binding agreement regarding a strategic transaction such as a change of control, a sale of substantially all the assets, or merger with a SPAC or another entity.
The financing supports continuing execution with tZERO’s market-leading infrastructure and as a bridge to an independent footprint for the company.
