very rarely do i get sick. the secret imo: never get into bed without taking a shower. since we bought our current bed many years ago, we have laid down in it exactly zero times without showering. my car might smell like gym & mcdonalds but im unfathomably clean in the sheets

This idea is compelling and underdiscussed. It helps explain why people that expect to find multiple personalities, demons, trauma, IFS entities, astrological-rhyme, past lives in Atlantis, etc. in their psyche are significantly more likely to find them.

My issue with automating everything is that there aren't that many things to do. I have no interest in autonomous cars because driving is one of the few times during the day that I'm not looking at a screen. Once we delete driving and housework, I'm basically a pure compute node.
