Is it just me or codex/astra is now 5x slower than 2 days ago? Seriously one small task takes ages what is going on?
AI work + Rust is a recipe for more than 1TB of storage, I thought my 1TB for developing was good well not anymore 😅
What is going on with these AI companies?
Codex/Claude one week you get fair usage and can code most of the week the next you are scratching your head with barely 1-2 days usage on higher tiers.
A few months back was practically unlimited...
Am I getting the sense that JetBrains is no longer interested in traditional development or they are trying to shift from normal development into agentic coding for it's tooling?
I saw the interview with Jake Wharton and the type of questions on that Interview were headed 👇
An agent writes the code now. Do you still need an IDE?
You do if you want to understand and verify what the agent did.

How good is Grok 4.7 in agentic coding compared to Claude and Chatgpt? What are your experiences? Any pain points?
The AI playbook is officially exposed: VCs pumped billions to subsidize cheap tokens, hooked us on "vibe coding," and created a massive bubble. Now the subsidies are dying, reasoning models are burning 30x more compute, and using AI for actual dev work is becoming unreasonably expensive. The honeymoon is over. 💸🧑💻
I've been building something I wish I'd had when preparing for Android interviews.
The DevBits Android Handbook focuses on understanding the engineering behind the answers — not memorising definitions.
It's open source and still a work in progress.

Developers do not have to justify testing and refactoring to management; because those disciplines increase efficiency and productivity. Indeed, it is the lack of such disciplines that ought to require justification. I doubt any could truly be found.
