Research suggests a link between exposure to fine particulate matter and a higher incidence of cardiovascular disease and respiratory disease, though more research is needed to determine exactly how damaging certain particles might be and in what amounts." Start by tackling the trashcan, the refrigerator, couches and pet beds—or checking your house for mold. Avoid the worst offenders.
