📢 Over 80,000 contributions to the EU Call for Evidence on Tobacco Legislation 🇪🇺 📝 More than 80,000 submissions were made to the European Commission’s Call for Evidence on the revision of EU tobacco legislation. 👥 European citizens alone submitted more than 71,000 contributions – representing almost 9 out of every 10 responses. 📊 This exceptional level of participation sends a clear message: the revision of EU tobacco rules matters, and citizens’ and stakeholders’ voices must be taken seriously. 🔬 For IEVA, the next steps must be guided by scientific evidence, proportionality, and a clear recognition of the differences between product categories.
