After the Bitget hack, NEAR Intents held funds mid-swap. The question I'd like answered: who can authorize a hold, who can release it, and how does a wrongly flagged user appeal? Those powers should be as easy to find as the word 'permissionless'.

Agreed. Tokenizing RWAs is simply moving existing wealth onto better rails. Which is useful, but the explosion of the onchain economy is far more compelling: open markets where people can trade or borrow against crypto directly, even when their local financial system fails them. There’s a lot more wealth to be created there than in the modest fees a company can charge for making stocks and bonds compatible with this new economy.
People ask me every week how to make money from tokenization. Honest answer: there's not much money in tokenization itself. There's a lot right next to it. I go through the three ways it's happening and where the money is in each: youtube.com/watch?v=sJSDhM2V…

"NEAR did unprecedented work on chain signatures" "unprecedented" is doing a lot of work here, threshold ECDSA, one key, sign on any chain, no bridge, shipped on internet-computer:native protocol-native, subnet-level DKG, asynchronous & byzantine-robust, with formal security proofs. NEAR's chain signatures shipped in 2024 and it's not even onchain, but an 8-node, appointed, permissioned side MPC network. So the "unprecedented engineering" is really "we shipped what ICP shipped protocol native, as offchain MPC." @NEARProtocol even cites @dfinity math for their offchain MPC bolt-on.😉 Don't believe me? Check the official $NEAR docs: docs.near.org/chain-abstract… In the "Derivation Paths: One Account, Multiple Chains" section, click the Additive Key Derivation link. It takes you to a @dfinity paper (click the PDF icon on the site). The funny part is, put the signer contract on any another blockchain (ETH, SOL, SUI... any smart-contract one), attach the MPC bolt-on, and it'll be "unprecedented engineering" for that chain too, without needing $NEAR at all. btw @LitProtocol already runs the same type, offchain, permissioned MPC, live on Ethereum today. 😉

Building a stablecoin on a small chain means you can't rely on anyone else for liquidity infrastructure. So I built a 3pool into Rumi Protocol. icUSD, ckUSDT, ckUSDC. Stablecoin swaps without depending on an external DEX to list you or fix their UI. You build what you need when nobody else will. $ICP

When UST collapsed, Cosmos didn't just lose a stablecoin. It lost trading pairs, lending markets, volume, and momentum. that hole never got filled. Stablecoins aren't optional infrastructure. They're gravity. Ecosystems without deep stablecoin liquidity just slowly die, no matter how good the tech is. wrote about how we got here.

Gold that just sits in a wallet is gold that isn't working. CDPs let you borrow against it without selling. Built exactly this on ICP. ckXAUT collateral went live last night. $XAUT $PAXG $ICP
Bitcoin, Gold, and ICP. Three collateral types, one stablecoin. Multi-collateral CDPs are live on Rumi Protocol. Borrow icUSD against ckBTC, ckXAUT, or ICP, each with independent liquidation ratios and vault logic. $ICP

Big backend update shipping for Rumi🔧 Multi-collateral framework: built. Tested. Ready. We're starting with $ICP, but the foundation is in place to expand collateral assets on demand. icUSD is just getting started.

This does 3 things for us: - Ensures users can repay their vaults even when liquidity for icUSD is low. - Relieves a source of downward pressure on circulating supply. - Builds a cache of stablecoins to use for redemptions when icUSD’s dollar peg is threatened. $ICP
Stablecoin debt repayment is live. Users can now repay icUSD vaults with ckUSDT or ckUSDC. Solves the bootstrapping liquidity problem and builds a peg defense reserve. When redemptions spike, we can meet them with dollar-pegged assets instead of selling ICP. Building on $ICP.

It's almost like the entire industry completely ignored @dfinity, the NASA of blockchain, as they made breakthrough after crypto breakthrough to create the Internet Computer so we didn't have rely on these centralized choke points anymore. Strange. $ICP
Your favorite DeFi protocol went down with the AWS outage. Now your favorite DeFi protocol is down with the Cloudflare outage. And all Oracles weight Binance as the first Gospel in the crypto Bible. Not as decentralized as we've been told, is it?

This guy gets it. ICP is not the competition. Much in the way Chainlink solved the problem of getting outside data fed to a blockchain, $ICP enables your web3 app to be fully on-chain. $SUI should be moved to top of the list for next chain fusion integration
☆THE MOST MISUNDERSTOOD ECOSYSTEM IN CRYPTO MIGHT JUST BE $ICP ☆ Most people only remember the price drop not what $ICP was actually built to do. But after a few hours of research as promised, it's clear this isn't your regular blockchain. Here’s why $ICP is quietly building what others are still promising. Lately, I’ve been diving into the Internet Computer ($ICP) ecosystem, and I’ll be honest it’s nothing like the casual takes you often see on CT. Many people wrote it off years ago, but what’s happening quietly behind the scenes is worth paying attention to. At its core, ICP isn’t just another blockchain trying to run DeFi or NFTs it’s aiming to rebuild how the internet itself works, by hosting applications fully on-chain. No AWS, no external APIs, no traditional servers just smart contracts called canisters that handle both logic and storage. That’s a big deal. Most blockchains only store data and rely on centralized infrastructure for everything else. ICP cuts out that middle layer completely, giving developers a way to deploy web apps that live 100% on the blockchain. One of the most interesting parts is chain key cryptography a system that allows the entire network to have a single public key while keeping the private keys decentralized across nodes. It’s a breakthrough that enables fast finality and secure operations at scale. Then there’s the Network Nervous System (NNS) the brain of ICP. It lets token holders participate in real governance: voting on upgrades, managing node providers, and influencing how the network evolves. No closed-door decisions, it’s all on-chain. And when you look into the ecosystem itself, it’s much more active than people realize. There are hundreds of live projects from social apps like OpenChat and DSCVR, to DeFi platforms like ICDex and Finterest, to creative tools like Catalyze and Taggr. You’ll also find utility projects like Plug Wallet and Internet Identity, which already has over a million users. What’s most impressive is that all of these run directly on the Internet Computer, no centralized hosting, no cloud dependence. It’s not just talk; it’s functional decentralization in motion. If you’ve been around the Sui or other ecosystems and you’re looking for an alternative that’s doing something truly different, ICP might be worth exploring. It’s not a hype cycle right now, which might actually be the best time to dig in. Because at the end of the day, the strongest ecosystems aren’t built during bull runs. They’re built when no one’s paying attention. ~~> Lastly the important links you need to know as newbies: 1. Official Website: internetcomputer.org 2. Guys, we should make a custom front end for a top $SUI protocol like @navi_protocol or @MMTFinance, hosted in an $ICP canister. They will ask “why” so we can explain it’s easy, cheap, and hack-proof. Bonus points if we can connect using @kristoferlund’s wallet Investigating…

This is so cool! If you ever worried about a central point of failure using browser extension wallets, $ICP can fix that. $SUI is a top notch chain with such a robust and liquid DeFi economy; I would love to see ckSUI some day (protocol-level, bridgeless integration with ICP)
SUI💙ICP onchain wallet, status update 2, DONE! Total build time: 8 hours. Lost 3 hours on a signature format misunderstanding 🤦. ✅ Onchain secure address derivation ✅ Get account balance ✅ Sign transactions ✅ Send transactions Live on testnet: ltouy-taaaa-aaaas-qcoca-cai.…
