I hate buying new things that can easily be fixed with a little epoxy. Not always pretty but functional. #spiritedman @VanNeistat
@alwaystheself I wanted to reach out and thank you for your writing and the depth of your thinking. I stumbled upon your blog today while looking online for people writing about the intersection of racism and non-duality. Your blog from May 12, 2013 was really helpful to read
And I was thrilled to hear you mention Thay and Mooji. I have been a student of Thich Nhat Hahn since I was a teen and a student of Mooji’s for the past 7 years. And as an educator I am doing a lot of anti-racism work and look forward to checking out the books you have written.

My Q to President Trump just now: Overall, U.S. unemployment rate fell by 1 %. Black unemployment rate went up .1%. Asian American rate went up by .5%. How is that a victory?
His response to me: “You are something.”
Note: It’s a crucial question.
Last night, will cooling down after a run, I crossed paths with this huge earth worm as it made its way across the road. Thinking it might get hit by a car I sat with it while it slowly made its way to the curb. It was a meditative 15 minutes.
However, on my two block walk home I didn’t see any more. They were just at that one spot. Lots of questions. I want to spend time every day being open to wonder and be curious about the world. Thanks to @dhudgins for posing the question “why do we consider dandelions weeds”?
