AI is NOT Intelligent. Please people, try to understand. It creates Nothing, and pattern matches everything. Sure, it is good at gathering human intelligence and connecting the dots. It can analyze all of our collective thoughts.
Intelligence = creation. It fails at that.
Can we figure out how to remove old, expired satellites and junk debris from space before launching 15000 more into space?

It is not "intelligence".
It is pattern recognition based on training from "Hooomans".
It cannot "Create" anything.
It can only help us put the puzzle together.
We have to identify the pieces.

This is a sharp question that cuts to the heart of a real debate in AI and philosophy of mind.
The short answer: there is no logical inference — there's only the appearance of it.
Pattern matching produces correlation-based outputs, not conclusions derived from premises.
A pure pattern matcher has none of those — it produces the statistically expected next output given prior inputs. That can look like reasoning because human reasoning also leaves patterns in text, and the matcher has ingested enormous amounts of it.
True logical inference requires:
- A formal relationship between propositions
- Rules of entailment (if A and B, then C necessarily)
- The ability to recognize when a rule doesn't apply
