Bottom line:
FSU as a football school is done.
Doesn't matter what conference your in (or not in).
Without the millions of dollars needed to bail out the horrific leadership at all levels of anything athletic for the school, it's never ever going to happen.
Doesn't even matter if Norvell stays or goes.
We had the blessing of Bobby Bowden for decades and his success bore a double-edged sword:
Success that no other program has ever seen
Administrative ignorance to what's required to compete covered by that success.
one of these days I'd love to click on a @YouTube video - any video - that isn't an ad, a plea for subscribers & likes, etc.
Oh. My. God. Always thought @Halestorm and especially Lzzy were impressive but what an outstanding show delivering well beyond expectations. The whole band is great but Lzzy brought it on a whole different level.

hey - @ibanezofficial - can we PLEASE get a re-issue of the JEM777?
I think I speak for most of us when I say the world needs this guitar again -- and in all its original colors (and maybe even a couple new ones?)
it's going to be a VERY long season for FSU alums and fans.
Norvell's days are numbered and the clock is ticking. He'll be gone before the season's end. that doesn't mean it will get any better.
FSU as a program has effectively been dismantled and wouldn't even be able to line up as a practice squad against pre-norvell teams.
Yes.

Worktrees can be rough when they pile up. I use a loop to clean up stale worktrees. Should we build this into Claude Code?

Claude Code on desktop now works with the iOS simulator.
Build and run your iOS app, and the simulator opens in a panel right next to your conversation. Available today in public beta.
Scope creep: that friend who says they’ll “just stop by for one drink” and suddenly you’re helping them move at 2 in the morning
amiright?
What happened to Gemini? Seriously, one moment they were (deservedly so) all the rage for the vibe coding world, and now, they're nowhere to be seen...
Makes me think that they're about to launch the next "best" thing at some point in the near future -- but what do I know?
the biggest hazard in long-running agent work isn't the model. it was my stale notes/docs entering the prompt as fact.
my fix: every resume prompt opens with "re-establish state by inspection. believe the code over this prompt and over your own memory."
the repo is the source of truth. everything else is a rumor.
Ranking #1 means you won, right?
Been digging through a client's search data and something was very wrong.
Turns out ranking can be wildly misleading. Sometimes it means almost nothing.
The fix starts with surfacing the proof you already have, then structuring it so the machines can actually understand it and the right people can finally find you, so that's where we're starting.
