The Trump administration is moving to ditch consumer-friendly regulations as they prioritize the big airline corporations above fliers.
The Department of Transportation has cut protections against misleading prices and hidden junk fees, and will now eliminate the rule that mandates cash compensation for disrupted flights.
They are also adding 10 types of cancellations that airlines are no longer responsible for and no longer have to reimburse you for.

The Trump administration is delaying the release of data showing how Republicans’ 2025 tax cuts affected millions of Americans’ taxes.
While Republicans repeatedly claim their major tax bill helped most Americans, the data that would confirm that claim was scheduled to be released in July, and then updated again in September.
But the agency hasn’t published any of it, according to Politico.
