I sympathize with Beach As a kid, I went through major abuse for 8 years (age 4-12). My step mom was the criminal. My dad watched and did nothing. Went through a 5 year court case (age 13-18). My father apologized and did everything Bowman did. I "forgave" him. Why did I forgive him? Had I not, I would have never seen my brothers again (or for a very long time). I don't speak about this for likes or clicks. Most friends of mine don't know about this. Hockey is for many of us more than just a sport. It's our life, our passion, our getaway, and a release. To support an organization that encourages this is befuddling, nonsensical, and can't be encouraged. I WILL NOT encourage. I can continue to talk about Edm in my posts, but you will never ever see me support the team in any way that profits them with this management. I will, however, support the players. This especially hurts as they are on the cusp of winning a championship. My heart goes out to the Beach family. To the Jon Doe 2 family. To all other people who suffer any types of abuse, and lastly, to those who don't support this change. Thanks for listening to my story and the little bit I spoke of it. It really takes a lot of courage to do this.
