A minor correction here. The Trust was in no sense "obliged" to waste vast amounts of time and taxpayers' money on meritless objections, every one of which was rejected by the Planning Inspector.

Such a shock and sad news for all who knew Martin, which was many people in Teddington. A wise and compassionate councillor dedicated to improving our area and protecting and enhancing the environment. Always ready to entertain and educate, a colleague who will be greatly missed
Very sad to learn of the death of Cllr Martin Elengorn.
Martin will be greatly missed by the many residents he helped in Teddington and beyond, as well as by officers and councillors he worked with over 40 years on the Council.
