Feeling stuck? Change your scenery.
Every time I step out of my routine, good things happen.
You can change your circumstances — even when it feels like you can’t.
Say yes to new opportunities. Watch what happens.

After losing a close friend last week, I’ve been doing a lot of reflection.
And now more than ever I feel called to declare these 3 commitments.
I’ve been given an assignment (as you have).
I’m on this planet to help you with your leadership.
So I’d love to hear - how I can help?

Your product isn’t dead.
Your model is.
Leaders lose momentum when they try to resuscitate outdated systems instead of reimagining the mission.
Don’t save the past.
Redesign the future.
Leaders don’t get stuck on bad ideas.
They get stuck on first ones.
That’s anchoring bias.
Challenge your assumptions.
Reframe the problem.
Let go of the old idea—so the better one can rise.
Success always comes at a cost.
The question is: do you know what you’re spending to get it?
Define your vision.
List the price.
Then decide—
Is it worth it?
Grinding ≠ growing.
If you’ve lost joy in the thing you once loved, it might be time to pause.
Breaks aren’t failure—they’re fuel.
Rest. Reflect. Restart.
Your best work needs a rested you
When your team drops the ball, it’s tempting to jump in and fix it.
But if you always catch the fall, they never learn to stand.
Coach the correction.
Train to 80%.
Hold the standard and develop the people.
That’s leadership.
Fight. Flight. Freeze.
Those instincts may protect you—but they won’t move you forward.
Stuck? Say yes. Show up. Take the next step.
That’s how leaders lead through hard times.
Do you really know what your leaders are juggling every day?
I walked my high school son’s schedule tonight. Imagine if we did the same with our team leads—seeing their day through their eyes.
Leadership isn’t just talk. Sometimes you’ve got to walk the walk.

Inspiration isn’t optional for leaders.
You can’t give what you don’t have.
So ask yourself:
Who in your circle actually inspires you?
If no one comes to mind…
you might be living in a cage, not a circle.
Feeling stuck?
Maybe the way forward isn’t forward.
Pause. Reflect.
Your past leadership wins might hold the key to your next one.
Look back—so you can leap ahead.
Fear doesn’t always sound like fear.
It sounds like “I need more time” or “I’m still thinking.”
Name what’s holding you back.
Then lead through it.
Some leaders play to win.
Others play not to lose.
One mindset fuels momentum.
The other stalls innovation.
Play to win. Buy the trailer. Figure it out.
That’s how future-builders think.
Pressure isn’t stress.
Pressure is external. Stress is internal.
One you can’t control. The other you can.
Reframe the pressure as privilege—
It’s proof you’re doing something that matters.
A broken key fob reminded me of a leadership truth:
👉 Don’t rely on just one source.
Leaders confirm, compare, and think critically.
Where are you overly dependent on a single source of information?

Leadership anxiety is real.
But it’s not the headlines or economy that shake us—
It’s losing focus on what we can control.
The antidote to anxiety?
Action.
Work the plan. Build the team. Stay the course.
There are never enough hours in the day.
The answer isn’t more time.
It’s stacking habits.
A walk. A book. A note. A lesson.
Leaders don’t add hours. They multiply impact.

Giving away your time might feel costly in the moment.
But wise leaders know:
Generosity builds trust.
Trust builds reputation.
And reputation builds opportunity.
Sometimes the best investment isn’t money—it’s minutes.
Leadership without gratitude is hollow.
Your team can’t feel what you don’t express.
Tell them. Show them.
Gratitude fuels morale, loyalty, and performance.
It costs nothing—and changes everything.
