Wonder why Abbott won’t release those data center reports which specify which local communities were most impacted by reduced grid access and lost water supply by his data centers?
The same ones that also get billions in annual sales tax exemptions under MAGA NDAs so locals won’t know.
Maybe having to hide the impact of your policy is a sure sign you don’t deserve to govern.
Maybe fear that locals won’t vote for you if they know more just means they should not vote for you at all.

PS I’ve met Putin many times and listened in on calls with him as well. I also speak Russian. Yes he is soft spoken, deliberate, and measured. So what? He’s still a killer. He still launched a barbaric invasion of Ukraine, that has produced tragic loss of life not seen on this scale in Europe since WWII.
Vance: "I've never met Putin in person. I've spoken to him on the phone. He was calmer than you might expect. The American media has a stereotype of him. He's very deliberate and measured in his words.
I think, at his core, he's someone who cares about Russia's interests as he sees them. One reason he respects the President is that he recognizes the President cares about the interests of the American people."

That’s why two former Texas Supreme Court justices, both appointed by a Republican governor and elected on the Republican ticket, endorsed me in this race.

Paxton hasn't been able to provide proof that a single kid has been trans'd, almost trans'd, or scheduled to be trans'd in a TX public school or anywhere else. He's out here dead ass lyin. And a bunch of people, who still think Talarico is lying about the flu, are lapping it up.
Or, Texans can vote for @GinaHinojosaTX, @VikkiGoodwinTX, and @Flores4LandCom and put an end to selling off our state to billionaires.
And so the last pristine beach in Texas will turn into Galveston
Boca Chica is truly a gem - it feels like being on the edge of the world. isolated and unspoiled unlike South Padre Island across the pass.
generations of 956ers have gone to that beach and enjoyed the uniquely biodiverse environment there.

This is truly a historic moment. President Trump has indefinitely suspended sanctions against Russia that would have been required in the Graham law. He went against the last request of Lindsey Graham, whom he called his friend. And he handed Putin the opportunity to finance the war against Ukrainians, who are fighting for their freedom.
Trump calls this a "national interest." But diesel prices went up because of his war against Iran and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. So waiving sanctions on Russia does not solve that problem. Instead, it creates another one.
Putin cannot win on the battlefield, so he attacks civilians. Russian missiles and drones are destroying homes, hospitals, schools, and churches. According to the UN, just two weeks of October have been among the deadliest for civilians in Ukraine in recent years.
Forty percent of Russia's budget goes to the war. After Trump's latest decisions, Russia will make record profits. The formula is simple: "Money turns into missiles. Missiles turn into civilian deaths."
Trump is not stopping Russia's war against Ukraine. Trump is helping Putin win it.
As a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, I want to address the people of America, regardless of their political views.
Do you really believe that the killing of millions of people and the loss of Ukraine's independence are in your national interest?
If not, what will you do to stop America from financing the genocide that Putin is waging against Ukrainians with Trump's support?

Latest: Zelenskyy tells reporters over WhatsApp that restrictions on Ukraine's Starlink systems remain. Interceptor drones can't function, logistics and operations hobbled. The maximum speed is 161 kph; "exceeding this limit causes the Starlink connection to cut out completely, resulting in the loss of the drone."
He says Ukraine has done tests to determine whether SpaceX is truly facing technical issues, as has been told Kyiv by the US side, or if this is a "deliberate operation... to restrict us, cut us off, and prevent us from defending ourselves and protecting our people, both at the front and among the civilian population."
He says Ukraine "sent a couple of vehicles equipped with Starlink terminals into European Union territory."
"They moved at speeds exceeding 180kph, and the Starlink systems worked perfectly. We have the relevant logs and evidence to prove this."
He adds: "The conclusion is clear: the restrictions are in effect within Ukraine but do not apply within the European Union. In other words, this is a planned operation."

Alex Gibney: “There was an estimate that what [Elon Musk] did by suddenly cutting USAID would cost through disease and starvation as many as 14M lives. Even if you discount that, we know within a year of those cuts where they were literally burning food going to starving children, 500K children died. This is really a crime against humanity, but he makes a joke about it, I put USAID into the woodchipper. What he put into the woodchipper were children”

Greg Abbott made this mess by appointing Huffines, we can clean it up by beating both of them in November.

We don’t use Starlink for our responses inside Russia. We use Starlink to intercept jet-powered “shaheds” that attack our civilians and kill families.
Starlink wasn’t turned off – its speed was reduced. And when the speed was reduced, we were unable to intercept a certain number of jet-powered “shaheds.” We couldn’t use a tool that helps protect people. That’s very painful and frustrating.
We also use Starlink for mid-range strikes against enemy military targets in our temporarily occupied territories. We couldn’t do that when the restrictions were in place. And third, what matters most is people. Our warriors, who spend weeks and months on the front line, receive food and water delivered by drones using Starlink.
Has the speed been fully restored to what it was before? No. Is it being restored now? Yes.
