Got ourselves some mighty fine #snow biking today! Might have been -5 to begin with, but that actually made the crunchy, frozen trails more rideable than they often are in #autumn mud. ❄️❄️❄️ #mtb #mountainbiking #vtt #Alps #Chamonix #cycling #mountains ⁦#firstsnow

First snow came a bit later this year, but nice to wake up to a snowy sight. #Chamonix Previous years: 2010: 16/10 2011: 6/12 2012: 27/10 2013: 10/10 2014: 22/10 2015: 15/10 2016: 6/11 2017: 23/10 2018: 28/10 2019: 7/11 2020: 26/9 Hopefully this means good winter.

It hasn't been easy finding lots of positives about how France handled the pandemic this past year, but at least things are starting to turn around and the mass vaccination centres seems to be well organized and efficient. Got mine today. Hopefully we can soon put this behind us

What a great way to start a days skiing? Its Saturday perfect weather and the lifts broken down again. It’s-14c and 2 hour queue. Chamonix lift company couldn’t run a bath.

After starting my winter skiing in 3 other countries, it was time to finally ski at home on the home mountain. And what a first day it was! In other news, the #aiguilledumidi opens this Saturday and the big dump is currently going on in #Argentiere. This is the one. :)
