Don't forget what thousands of soldiers did on this day back in 1944. Imagine facing those German guns with no protection. #DDay73

I had a microphone for 27 years. The truth? I am a liar. I lied to fit in. Get ovations. Lied to myself. I know I am not alone. Sometimes we hide behind white lies and half truths. I did both on air and off. Here, I tell the truth. open.spotify.com/episode/0HC…

Wow. Such a shock that the war’s main advocate oversold the outcome. Time for my favorite quote. ‘History does not repeat itself. Man does.’ (Voltaire) This has happened since WWII
VP Vance told Netanyahu in a "difficult" call on Monday that several of Netanyahu's predictions about the war had proved far too optimistic, like the prospects of a popular uprising to topple the regime, per Axios

This may be looked at as good communication. ‘The “influencer” is setting a boundary.’ ‘You probably could have said that in a nicer way.’ That’s not effective communication. That’s accusatory, not a boundary. The older lady handled it with grace. That’s effective.

If every business replaces employees with AI, who will buy their products? We have AI but no one can afford our stuff. #ai

Why Did the Salesman Lose the $38,000 Sale? He Couldn't Do This One Thing. It's the skill that increases your visibility and influence. robhunter.substack.com/p/a-3…

As an investigative journalist and broadcaster for 27-years, my conclusion: most of what we believe is fake. In media spaces, people tell you one thing and do another. A grand facade to be popular. thebulwark.com/p/shocking-se…

Knish grinds it out. Play it safe w/1 big pot an hour. Mike goes all in. Take your shots. Win big or learn bigger. You don't give yourself a chance to win big if you don't sit down at the big tables. Your career is a poker table. How are you playing? robhunter.substack.com/p/sto…

Which character are you? Joey Knish played it safe for 15 years. When asked, "How are you?" he'd reply, "The same." Mike lost $30,000. Got his ass kicked. Got back to the table & won $60K. "If you're not careful, your whole life can become a grind." robhunter.substack.com/p/sto…

It BOGGLES MY MIND how many executives don't get this. Or won't do anything about it. Poor communication is the most expensive thing in business. You won't see it on the P&L sheet, but it's there. Oozing profits.

Are you an exec who relies on email for important communications? 70% of employees aren't reading them. Ask your team how they want important updates. Then give them what they want. Productivity increases. Culture improves. Goals are achieved. #communication

Language is contagious. What you say leaves an impression. You're either a virus or you're a positive contagion. Every time you communicate as a leader, you're either: A virus (fear, confusion, distrust) Or…A positive contagion (clarity, confidence, alignment)…

You don't choose whether you leave an impression. You only choose WHAT impression you leave.

Preparing ahead of performance & sharing your experiences is how you improve your presence & command. No matter what you are discussing. Those 2 Steps help you Get C.L.E.A.R. You are a broadcaster. Maybe not on radio or TV. But, you speak to others every single day. 9/10

You have 8 seconds to capture attention. Keep that in mind. Bonus: Use your voice as an instrument. Great singers hit highs and lows to make a song more interesting and to keep & capture attention. Improve your #communication for free here: nowgetclear.com
