"The 80 year period when the United States embraced the mantle of economic leadership… is over". In everyday terms, "Dad just cut off our allowances."
Carney: The global economy is fundamentally different today than it was yesterday. The system of global trade anchored on the United States.. is over. Our old relationship of steadily deepening integration with the United States is over. The 80 year period when the United States embraced the mantle of economic leadership… is over. Only four hours and 11 minutes left until the deadline for @Harvard alumni to petition to add additional candidates to be considered for the vote to take place on April 1st.
Please go to RenewHarvard.com
The four @Harvard alums running for the Board of Overseers have collected 1,500 signatures toward the 3,300 required for their appearing on the ballot.
Two years ago, Harvard raised the requirement from 600 to 3,300+ signatures to make it more than five times more difficult for alumni to participate in Harvard’s governance.
The deadline for signatures is this Wednesday January 31st.
I have no affiliation with the four candidates running other than I support their platform and think they are excellent candidates.
You can learn more about them at Renewharvard.com which has a link to sign the petition.
You need your email address and Harvard password to sign the petition. It took me about five minutes as I had forgotten my password.
You can also learn more on the reposted tweet below.
Only three more days before we lose the chance to add potential alternatives for the April 1st election.
Please send this post to your university friends.
Thank you.

I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I will just run the software & servers teams.
