@metrodle your map today was wrong. You circled Westminster - or actually Westminster Bridge Pier river stop - but you gave the answer as St James’s Park. Sloppy

Nice to see Chelsea Women reminding Spurs of exactly how far they’ll have to travel if they want to be considered top table #WSL

Occasionally Twitter/X defaults me to the “For You” timeline rather than “Following” and you get a random sample of what’s on offer in other parts of the platform. And you get to see things - such as that a sizeable part of right-wing America has actually gone certifiably insane

Police are currently sifting through a huge mound of evidence
A man dubbed “Fecalangelo” has been caught on camera dropping a hot one in front of his son at a Bunnings Warehouse in Coffs Harbour. Staff said they’d expected the serial display-toilet pooper to strike after 27 other stores reported recent incidents, with Armidale, Ballina and Grafton all hit earlier this week by the same man. Coffs staff had raised the display toilets off the ground as a proactive measure; unfazed, the man scaled the display and crimped one off in an unplumbed toilet. An email from Bunnings has directed staff to cover every display bowl with Glad Wrap as a preventative measure.

Is there ANY food in the US that isn’t currently contaminated with something horrible?
The FDA has announced a recall of clams due to possible contamination with hepatitis A.

So… if Man City are about to get a massive points deduction, that’s HUGE news for one London club. Yes, I’m talking about Spurs. They won’t be bottom of the table any more. For a while anyway

Very sad to hear this. Bonnie was always a popular interviewee on the News Channel, & one of our favourite regulars on the paper review. We had some fascinating chats discussing which stories to review and she was always charming & interesting - even when I didn’t agree with her!

Hey, Chelsea Twitter - chill. He’s not coming here. “Monitoring” means “we’ve read about it this morning and now we’re pretending to the media that we’re across it so we can look cool and in control”.
🚨 Chelsea are monitoring the situation around JJ Gabriel. [@alex_crook]

Ok, I take this “slightly” back. Apparently the report that we were “monitoring the situation” dates Rom last week, so maybe this isn’t just us trying to look good in the media

Odd to see the words “crash” “Sterling” and “M3” in a single news report not accompanied by the phrase “from our economics correspondent”
