Introducing Agent Baseline: a vendor-neutral reference architecture for safely building, deploying, and operating AI agents in enterprise environments.
Created with @snyksec and @KeycardLabs, this open-source framework sets the minimum standard for agent safety:

Introducing the Open Knowledge Format (OKF), an open specification that formalizes the LLM-wiki pattern into a portable, interoperable format.
AI is only as smart as the context we give it. As we build more advanced, agentic AI systems, they need accurate metadata and context to be useful. But in most organizations, that context is locked inside fragmented data catalogs, isolated wikis, scattered code comments, or the minds of senior engineers. Every time a new AI agent is built, teams are forced to solve the exact same context-assembly problem from scratch.
To solve this, we've announced OKF, a vendor-neutral, open specification that formalizes the "LLM-wiki pattern" into a portable, interoperable format. It provides a standardized way to represent the enterprise knowledge that modern AI systems rely on.
— Just markdown: readable in any editor, renderable on GitHub, indexable by any search tool
— Just files: shippable as a tarball, hostable in any git repo, mountable on any filesystem
— Just YAML frontmatter: for the small set of structured fields that need to be queryable: type, title, description, resource, tags, and timestamp
We’ve also shipped reference implementations to help you hit the ground running, including an enrichment agent for BigQuery, a static HTML visualizer, and live sample bundles on @github → goo.gle/4uGvAEe
➕ Knowledge Catalog can now natively ingest OKF!
Stop reinventing data models and building bespoke integrations for every new AI tool. Here's more about how OKF works → goo.gle/4uGvBbg

I am hooked on Dynamic Workflows!
The idea of generating harnesses on the fly is so compelling that I reverse-engineered it for my agent orchestrator.
And then I built a monitoring dashboard (as an HTML artifact) to track tasks, metrics, and reports.
I can now use and monitor dynamic workflows in my agent orchestrator with coding agents like Claude Code, Codex, Pi, and even my own custom-built @dair_ai agent.
This is clearly the future of working with agents to accomplish complex, long-running tasks.
Some use cases I'm having success with:
- Branching deep research tasks (with verification)
- Parallel deep research tasks
- Session mining of all my agent sessions
- Bug hunting
- Triaging
- Fact-checking
- LLM councils
- AI simulations
- Data synthesis
- Evals generation
... and many others
Dynamic workflows, like agent skills, feel like an important primitive to not only get the most out of agents but also incorporate dynamic behaviors and important components like cooperation and verification.
There is so much exploration ground here. The exciting part is that this is not limited to coding tasks; it extends to business use cases and many other technical domains like science and research.
We’ve been researching new ways for ChatGPT memory to carry context across conversations and keep it useful over time.
Today, that work is rolling out as a more capable memory system in ChatGPT. openai.com/index/chatgpt-mem…
Introducing Claude Opus 4.8: it builds on Opus 4.7 with sharper judgment, more honesty about its own progress, and the ability to work independently for longer than its predecessors.

🚀 Introducing SkillOpt — an optimizer for agent skills.
Instead of finetuning model weights, we treat a natural-language skill as a trainable external parameter.
Think of it as deep learning for the frontier-model + agent era: learning rate, LR schedule, mini-batch, batch size, epoch, momentum — all in text-space optimization.
SkillOpt enables stable, controllable skill updates through bounded edits, allowing the optimizer to summarize “gradient directions” from agent experience and continuously improve procedural capability.
We evaluate SkillOpt across 6 benchmarks and 7 models, under both direct model calls and real agent execution loops with Codex + Claude Code. SkillOpt achieves best or tied-best results in 52/52 settings.
Train the skill, not the model. 🛠️🤖

Today, we’re open-sourcing the draft specification for DESIGN.md, so it can be used across any tool or platform. We’re also adding new capabilities.
DESIGN.md lets you easily export and import your design rules from project to project. Instead of guessing intent, agents know exactly what a color is for and can even validate their choices against WCAG accessibility rules.
Watch David East break down this shared visual language in action👇. New capabilities and links in 🧵
We built Upright to replace Pingdom at 37signals for monitoring all our services, and now we've open-sourced it too. Global checks, playwright smoke tests (with video recording!), detailed uptime tracking, and feeding into Prometheus + Grafana. Enjoy! dev.37signals.com/introducin…

I'm Boris and I created Claude Code. Lots of people have asked how I use Claude Code, so I wanted to show off my setup a bit.
My setup might be surprisingly vanilla! Claude Code works great out of the box, so I personally don't customize it much. There is no one correct way to use Claude Code: we intentionally build it in a way that you can use it, customize it, and hack it however you like. Each person on the Claude Code team uses it very differently.
So, here goes.

To move out of S3 and onto our own Pure Storage, @bitsweat built a little app called Nostos to manage the transition. We've been using S3 in some form for over 15 years, so there were a lot of old buckets in the attic to inspect! But well worth the effort to save nearly $1m/year.
