Big ups and huge congratulations to our client Antwan Tolliver for his lead role in Being Heumann, as he enjoyed the film opening the Toronto Film Festival this past Thursday. The film which stars Mark Ruffalo will be released in November and is rated 92% on Rotten Tomatoes. This huge for Antwan and RPT Entertainment. I am so happy that we decided to continue to do what we do 5 years ago. Special congrats to my wife Melanie, for making the right move in submitting him this this film. Many more major achievements to come our way, 26 yrs. strong and counting. To all of our clients at RPT, this is only the beginning. #antwantolliver #beingheumann #tiff #torontofilmfestival #rptentertainment #Movies #film #actor

R.I.P. to my sis Flo Anthony. Today, I want to pay tribute to an incredible woman whose work left a lasting impression on me—Flo Anthony. Florence Anthony was a graduate of Howard University. After working as a publicist for sports legends like Muhammad Ali, Butch Lewis, Michael Spinks, Larry Holmes, Mike McCallum and Matthew Saad Muhammad; Anthony wrote in the mid-1980s entertainment news. She became the first African-American reporter to work on the gossip column of the New York Post, as well as the first African-American to pen a column in The National Examiner. An expert on everyone from Michael Jackson and O. J. Simpson to Whitney Houston and Donald Trump, Anthony was a contributor on news magazine shows like Inside Edition, The Insider and Entertainment Tonight. I’ve been following Flo Anthony’s writing since the 1980’s . Long before social media made it easy to know every writer’s story, her words spoke for themselves. Through the years, I watched her grow, evolve, and continue to tell stories that mattered. She had a gift for connecting with people through her writing, and she inspired countless readers, including me. As someone who has always appreciated great storytelling, I found myself looking forward to her work. She reminded me that writing isn’t just about putting words on paper—it’s about touching lives, preserving history, sharing truth, and making people think. Whether she realized it or not, she inspired me to appreciate the power of the written word and the impact one person can have through dedication to their craft. When you’ve followed someone’s career for decades, you begin to feel like you’ve known them through their work. She wasn’t just a talented writer—she was someone whose voice became familiar over the years, someone whose passion, professionalism, and dedication earned my admiration. On a personal note, I was fortunate enough to connect with my shero, here on Facebook. Ms. Anthony was blown away when she knew of my fondness towards her and work. We communicated here and there, and she was a great supporter of the various activities in which I was involved in. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences go out to her husband, the legendary former heavyweight champion Michael Spinks, and to their entire family. No amount of public admiration can ease the pain of losing someone you love, but I hope it brings some comfort to know that Flo touched so many lives beyond those who knew her personally. Thank you, Flo Anthony, for the stories, the inspiration, and the example you set. Your words will continue to live on, and your legacy will never be forgotten. Rest peacefully, Sis. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten, especially by me. #ripfloanthony #AGreatOne

This guy is the worst family member ever on tv. Kanan has killed both of his uncles and later his cousin and son. Name me someone else on tv or in a movie like this. #kanan #PowerRaisingkanan
