At UATX, we're building a law program where students train under leading practitioners and sitting federal judges. Our General Counsel Adam Biggs spoke with @FoxNews about it: foxnews.com/politics/becomin…

Thanks Liz, but I’m more worried about the political duopoly producing senators who think their constituents are dumb enough to be outraged by the Spicy Mayo Trust.
Hellmann's mayo
McCormick spices
Cholula hot sauce
Frank's RedHot
What do these products have in common? One company could soon control them all.
I have concerns that McCormick and Unilever's $45 billion merger could increase YOUR grocery prices.

It's both as price and trust are related. Most docs are in it for the money or they wouldn't charge when they don't help you. And their relationships with Big Pharma are opaque and highly suspect. That is why we need lifecare insurance = life, disability, and health in 1 policy.
Note to self: don't connect things to the internet unless they really, really need to be connected to the internet. Ditto AI.
Technologies (which are not uncommon at all) like this only work in high trust societies. Low trust populations imported into high trust societies wreak havoc.
Airline travel is another technology that requires a high trust society. Think about that.
We really don't spend any time thinking about this particular cultural divider, out of fear of being called racist. It will be interesting (pathologically) to find out more about all this.

Did the New Deal save capitalism? Did deregulation cause the 2008 financial crisis? Former Senator Phil Gramm says the conventional answers are wrong, and he's bringing the evidence from his latest book, The Triumph of Economic Freedom.

People are arguing about meritocracy again. Some say colleges should seek out students of particular identities and interests.
Here's where we stand.
At UATX, we don't ask who your parents are, where your family came from, how you pray, how you vote, etc.
We ask one question: what can you do? And we measure it with test scores, which is the fairest, most objective, and transparent way we know.
If you score 1460 SAT (33 ACT, 105 CLT), you get in automatically. Below that, we look at your scores and AP/IB results. The middle 50% of our newest class landed between 1400 and 1490 on the SAT.
We think this is one of the most American ideas there is: that what you can do matters more than where you come from.
If you're ready for hard work, there's a place for you here -- no matter who you are.

Early-onset cancer risk is no longer a future scenario.
Tomorrow’s Pulse of Prevention covers what the data now show. Cancers long associated with older age are being diagnosed under 50. Detection and earlier screening explain part of the rise. They do not explain all of it.
