For my book update paddled up and down the Snohomish and out to Jetty Island with my instructor Brice yesterday. Really interesting exploring slough entries, seeing the old boats and shoreline relics and epic sunset inside Jetty Island. 9.7 miles which included bucking some wind.

Paddled the Duwamish River for my book update using eddies from Diagonal Street nearly up to the 1st Ave South Bridge. Then flew down current. This is Trip #16 in my book. Lots of interesting views from heavy industry to several river recovery sites with views of Mt Rainier

I started the update for my ‘Kayaking Puget Sound’ book 4th edition. Paddled Pillar Point on the Olympic Peninsula. Epic sea stacks, stellar sea lions, otters, rock gardens and surf waves made it for a fun trip. Also spotted large #marinedebris to be removed. @MtneersBooks #pnw

Supply chain still struggling..I ordered a wetsuit from Oregon early December. I’m in Seattle. Then the snow and ice happened. UPS say it was held for extreme weather. Daily for the next 2 weeks UPS said it would arrive ‘today 9-12’ or ‘up to 9pm.’ Finally just arrived! @UPS
