PGMOL are actually going to gift Arsenal another Premier League title. Shocking.

So here's my view on it..
The Premier League can't have Man City winning the league as that would be so so embarrassing for them..
So who ever plays Arsenal are truly screwed...
They have already decided Arsenal will win the league to save face...
That penalty waved away proves this...
You'll see more of this as the season goes..

🚨 CRAZY STAT: No English club has benefited from VAR decisions more than Arsenal since the start of last season. 😱

Well done to Simon Jordon who keeps raising this point.
No outrage for Chelsea cheating, no asking for their titles to be stripped, nothing.
Hypocrisy all over the league.
🤔 “Why aren’t you as outraged by Chelsea?”
🙅 “It wasn’t on the same scale… and City refuse to admit any wrongdoing!”
Piers and Simon debate the differences between Chelsea’s financial ‘cheating’ and Manchester City’s.

Teams like Man City and Newcastle represent the greatest threat to the established football elite since the Premier League’s formation
Their wealth allows them to change the norm of football and upend what has been allowed to happen
The cartel hate it but for everyone else, it’s about time and we’re all here for it

Man City broke all the rules. All the rules are bent and corrupt. Everyone can have an opinion on who is in the wrong, but owners spending money on a business they own isn’t illegal in any other form of business. In fact, some would say it’s encouraged.

Sick of hearing about city. They haven't been playing with 12 for 10 years. They havent had net spent more than MU Chels Liverpool Arsenal in that period either. When rules allow a club who are 1bn in debt to spend 200m every year id probably just get rid of the daft rules.

5 years on after becoming the “richest” club in the league, Newcastle have just finished in the same position as Mike Ashley’s final season.
The premier league rules are working exactly as intended. New money is banned from challenging the red cartel.

I think the level of hysteria around the Man City case is becoming very weird.
People genuinely acting like the Club has to be destroyed and sent to the shadow realm have lost the plot in my opinion.
They weren’t found guilty of match fixing. They weren’t paying refs. This isn’t comparable to the Serie A scandal or Lance Armstrong.
They saw an anti-competitive and unjust rule which only allowed the same 4 teams to dominate the League and said “no, we don’t want to wait decades to slowly build up revenues and have to sell our best players every time they do well to stop us from succeeding. We have the money, we’re not going to be irresponsible with Man City’s finances, we want to invest and compete now”.
Again, the idea that every team other than 3/4 in the League has to go on a constant merry-go-round of “hey that player for you guys is really good, we’re going to just take him because you can’t invest any more of your own money and he would be wasted at a middling team like you” is wrong. It doesn’t help football in this country and the rules should change to allow these clubs to be bought by owners with even deeper pockets who can give those clubs and even higher chance of sustained success.

Watching the Man City saga unfold as someone with absolutely no allegiance to either side…
One of the key pillars of football’s financial rules is supposedly “financial sustainability”.
So how is City’s owner effectively gifting equity to the club considered such a problem, while the Glazers loading Man United with huge debt and interest costs is compliant?
City broke the rules — punish them accordingly. But if debt-loading a club is acceptable while gifting equity isn’t, can we really claim these rules protect financial sustainability?
Perhaps it’s not just the clubs that need scrutiny. Perhaps the rules themselves do.
