One of my favourite birds! Such a beautiful voice and such a charming character. It's lovely to have their company wherever we @roamingmoth & I go across Australia. We spotted this one on Alherrkentye (Trephina Gorge), just after hanging out with an equally cute Dusky Grasswren!
The unassuming, button-eyed Grey Shrike-thrush is in possession of a wonderfully rich, melodious voice and a wide range of calls ranging from complex, lyrical phrases to individual, piping notes.
