Becaust after the Cold War ended a bunch of Globohomo-Corpo losers took over, made the EU the dominant force in European politics, and subsequently neutered the majority of EU nations and their identities. A France to be proud of nationally as opposed to loyal to the EU is no longer allowed as it is a threat to the EU's control of the entire region. Look at (West) Germany, during the Cold War, they were technically occupied, but were still an economic powerhouse and had excellent culture. Now they're just a African and Arabic apartment complex, just like France. National pride in Europe was eliminated.

It's so scary to think we have to find somewhere to store the dangerous waste like a desert or underground or something, which is a major problem unlike with fossil fuels where we safely store the waste in the atmosphere and our lungs
If one can of nuclear fuel can provide a lifetime of energy requirements for one person, where are they going to put the 70 million cans of waste for 10,000yrs?
NB. There is only one new UK nuclear waste depository and it's located right on the very north coast of Scotland. 🤔

While "70 million" sounds large, 70 million soda cans take up a very modest amount of space. It can fit in a cube under 30 meters (100 feet) on each side. Alternatively, it can fit in about 5-10 swimming pools or a couple hundred standard shipping containers.
